Gîte "Les Archives" Vacances-en-Luberon

This flat consists of a cosy living room with a fully equipped open kitchen, a roof terrace of 4 x 4 metres and a spacious bedroom with good beds, a sitting area and a bathroom with double shower, washbasin, dressing table and toilet.
The gîte is suitable for 2 persons. By renting chambre "Luberon" the gîte is also suitable for 4 persons.
The furnishing of the living room and kitchen are adjusted to this. Chambre "Luberon" is also adjacent to the roof terrace.
The access from the roof terrace to "Chambre Luberon" is only opened when the gîte is rented out to 4 people.
Waking up in the gîte in the heart of Reillanne, means that there is a bakery at 5 minutes walking distance.
Fresh baguette, a croissant and breakfast on your private roof terrace with the view of the Luberon.
Holidaying in the Provence is also tasting the atmosphere of a historic Provencal village with a pace of life without stress.
Take a walk through the narrow streets of the village and enjoy a meal on one of the terraces on the village square!
"Les Archives" means coming home to a comfortable house with a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meals.
But also a day at home is not a punishment, nice in the sun on your own terrace with a good book and a cup of coffee or in the evening just muse under the stars with a good glass of wine from the Provence.
Gîte "Les Archives" is part of the Maison de Maître, a notary's house from the eighteenth century, situated in the old centre of Reillanne. The house has a floor area of approx. 1500 m2 divided over 5 floors. There are 32 rooms in the house. Of these rooms, about two-thirds have been restored to a habitable state.
Thanks to the fact that the house has not been inhabited for about 50 years, many of the original details have been preserved, so that the house has retained its original character.
In this building, besides a flat for ourselves, three chambres d'hôtes (B&B) and two gîtes (flats) have been realised. Also the gardens on both sides of the house (the house borders on different streets at the front and the back) have been completely renovated. At the front of the house there is a terrace with room for six people under the parasol and a garden with plane trees, a 4-seater bench and reclining chairs. At the back of the house gardens and terraces with a swimming pool of 4x8 m. with a counter flow (jet stream) for the real swimmers. Should there be no more parking space in the street next to the house, no problem we have a private parking. We also have a (locked) shed available for (self-carried) bicycles.
