The house
First floor of a villa, near the beach, on the Mediterranean coast dating back to the belle époque. The flat with sea view is 52 square metres and consists of a living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. In addition, there is a lovely south-facing balcony with sea views where you can eat with four people and which overlooks a railway track, a centuries-old olive garden and the Mediterranean Sea. Less than ten minutes walk to the marina and the beach, which is lovely in the summer months. The market and shops are at about the same walking distance. Excellent public transport to and from Nice airport and to Menton or Ventimiglia (Italy).
The luxurious village of Beaulieu-sur-Mer overlooks Cap Ferrat and has a rich history. The rich of the world came here and still do. Thanks to the beautiful flowerbeds that have been created here, the village has trees and plants that bloom in all seasons. Beaulieu-sur-Mer is situated by the sea and at the foot of the high mountains of the Alps. An ideal place for sun lovers, hikers and water sports enthusiasts.

Beaulieu-sur-Mer is located between Nice and Monaco, at walking distance from the beach. It is a village where the tourists are generally older, and families with small children also come here. There are no clubs or discos. There is a train running in front of the house, but you can hardly hear it because of the tightly shut windows. This train runs along the entire Côte d'Azur. If everything is open, which is the case in summer, then you can hear the train. It is a nice sight to see from the balcony the station of Beaulieu-sur Mer where they arrive and depart. The frequency is not high. It is about 2 to 3 trains per hour.

For lovers of French cuisine, the real haute cuisine, there is much to enjoy in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. La Réserve has been one of France's leading hotel-restaurants since 1880. In Êze Village, you can go to Château de la Chèvre d'Or which has 5 stars. You can also find ordinary restaurants in every price range.

Enjoying the mountains. In winter, two buses take you to a ski resort in three hours. Outside the ski season, there is a train from Nice that follows a spectacular route through the mountains.
Culture: In Beaulieu-sur-Mer, there is the Greek villa Kerylos, built just after 1900 according to the model of a classic Greek villa. You can buy a combination ticket for this museum with the Villa Ephrussi on Cap Ferrat. Villa Ephrussi is a great Belle Époque palace with a beautiful garden in which the botanical splendour of the whole world is brought together. In Nice, there are several art museums, besides contemporary art, there are museums dedicated to Matisse and Chagall.

The flat by the sea is part of a villa inhabited by French people and therefore not in an enclave for holidaymakers. The kitchen is well equipped, with cooker, oven, dishwasher and microwave. There is (French) TV in our house and we are connected by fiber. There is internet with Wifi and a stereo with Bluetooth.
