Domaine de Sivas La Ferme

La Ferme Balayres is the heart of the Domaine, with its southern, rural feel. It used to be the home of a farming family who mainly lived off the produce of the orchards. Now it is a cosy holiday home that can accommodate 6 tenants. A large, attractively furnished kitchen with a spacious dining table is the important meeting point where usually much more is done than just cooking. Besides the kitchen, the farmhouse offers another, much larger, meeting and recreation room.

The Salon is the ideal place to have a chat in the evening or to read in the cosy sitting area, in winter by the flames of the authentic wood stove. Moreover, children have plenty of room to play here.

Les Balayres has five bedrooms. All rooms breathe a charming southern atmosphere. They all have a washbasin with cold water and good beds with slatted frames. Around the country house there is plenty of space with lots of privacy. There is a wooden (dining) table in front of the house, which also offers some shade in the middle of the day. In summer it is a lovely place to eat outside, with a view of the wide valley and the surrounding mountains.

Next to Les Balayres is a low walled garden with a picnic table, a bench and swings. The old grape growing up against the weather-beaten stones of the farmhouse gives this spot extra romance. An ideal place for sunbathing, playing ball and games. And of course to enjoy the generous stone barbecue on long sunny evenings!
