The house
Attractive villa with romantic cabanon, private pool and large Provencal garden of approx. 8500 square metres. Unique is the beautiful view of Claviers, one of the most authentic Villages Perchés in Provence. The main house has three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, spacious kitchen with modern appliances and cosy living room with wood-burning stove. Higher up in the garden is a separate cottage, the cabanon, with double bed and private bathroom. Also: toys, table tennis table, trampoline and two mountain bikes (at extra charge). The house is suitable for eight adults, plus one baby. The holiday home's location in southern France, between the Mediterranean Sea and Gorges du Verdon also makes it ideal for excursions. To beautiful villages, top destinations like Nice, Cannes and St Tropez, the perfume city of Grasse and other attractions in Provence. Afterwards, it is always lovely to return to the peace and quiet of the holiday home and charming Claviers.

The large garden not only provides a lot of privacy, but with its spacious flat terraces it is also ideal for playing or relaxing. The view of Claviers, a typical high-altitude Provencal village, is magnificent. Together with the artists' village of Bargemon and the pure Callas, it forms a hidden golden triangle in the hinterland of the Côte d'Azur.

Restaurants, food & wine
Within a radius of fifteen kilometres, there are numerous wineries. Most of them do not produce supermarket wine, but high-quality wines. Red, white and rosé. Of course, these can be tasted on the spot and some wine houses offer guided tours. Famous names include Château d'Esclans, Domaine Château du Rouet and Château Sainte Roseline. The region is also known for its excellent olive oil. At the mill in Callas, different varieties can be tasted and purchased. In this village, there is also an artisanal producer of balsamic vinegars and near Bargemon, there is a specialist in saffron.
Activities
This is the heart of Provence, so: beautiful villages, markets, brocante and hours of lunch on squares under the plane trees. But active is also possible. The direct surroundings of the holiday home lend themselves to numerous walks and rides on a mountain bike through the unique landscape of Southern France. Nice trips include Nice, Cannes, St. Tropez and the Gorges du Verdon, the Grand Canyon of Europe. To the sea? The most beautiful beaches are 45 kilometres away.

Linen package consists of bed linen (beds made up on arrival), two towels, one guest towel. Also included is kitchen linen: tea towels, towels, cleaning cloths.
No beach towels.
Electricity: €10 per day included, more than sufficient for a group of eight people, when charging electric cars and using heating (not necessary in summer) you will exceed this amount and the extra consumption will be deducted from the deposit.

We hebben genoten van een heerlijke vakantie in een mooi en gezellig huis met ruime slaapkamers, goed uitgeruste keuken, mooi terras met bbq en een heerlijk zwembad. Rustig gelegen in de Provence met een prachtig uitzicht op het middeleeuwse Claviers.

Wat hebben wij genoten van deze prachtige villa! Het is nog mooier dan op de foto's. Heerlijk zwemmen in het riante zwembad en de bbq en luxe keuken zijn een geweldige uitkomst voor de dagen wanneer je even niet buiten de deur wilt eten. Al met al niet anders dan lof voor dit huis en de geweldige ligging!

Mooi, ruim huis, heel rustig gelegen tegenover het dorpje Clavier. Goed uitgeruste keuken, mooie slaapkamers. De eigenaar liet ook heel wat leuke Nederlandstalige boeken achter. We hebben genoten van de kleine dorpjes in de omgeving, het prachtige zwembad, de trampoline en de pingpongtafel in de eigen tuin. We hebben ook enkele wijndomeinen in de omgeving bezocht om er wijn te proeven en te kopen.
