The house
The Bergerie is an originally 400-year-old shepherd's cottage and is today equipped with contemporary comforts. It is independent, surrounded by olive trees and has a sunny private enclosed garden (where there are also some shady spots), private parking and access to the private swimming pool of the owner, who lives in the house next door.

• Interior is decorated in typical Provençal style.
• Living room with fireplace and sofa bed.
• Equipped Kitchen (gas cooker, fridge, and microwave), with dining corner
• Bathroom with bath/shower, washing machine and dryer.
• Spacious bedroom on the first floor with king size bed which can also be converted into 2 separate beds.
• Terrace with garden furniture.
• Access to private swimming-pool of the owner’s house, a few steps away
• Private parking
• Bed linen, towels and kitchen towels supplied.
• Satellite TV (international programs only like BBC…)
• Outdoor Wi-Fi connection, from terrace and garden.
• If needed and on request, you can make use of a room of the adjacent property to work.

Located between sea and mountains in the Eastern part of the Var, Fayence is the main village out of 7 others in the “Pays de Fayence”. The cottage is only 5 minutes’ drive away from Fayence and Seillans. In Fayence you will find everything from shops to restaurants, to cozy terraces, and a local market every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning.
In the surroundings, discover the hilltop villages, the Saint-Cassien lake (beaches, water sports…) and the seaside at Théoule-sur-Mer or Saint-Raphaël at less than 45 minutes. For a daytrip, you can easily go to the Gorges du Verdon, Grasse, the Côte d'Azur (Cannes, Antibes, Nice, St-Tropez, the Lérins Islands, etc.) up to Liguria in Italy.
The nearest airport is Nice Côte d’Azur, about a small hour drive away.
The Bergerie is situated independently on the grouds of the owner, with it's own garden, surrounded by olive trees.
Located between the picturesque villages of Seillans and Fayence, La Bergerie is a relaxing place to spend your holidays. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes and olive trees the region offers you numerous and diversified sites to visit and practice your favourite leisures.

The whole region lends itself perfectly to hiking and you can already make endless walks directly from the cottage. Many cultural events are also organized especially during summer months, including a Jazz festival in Tourrettes (next to Fayence) and a classical music festival in Seillans.

Wij hebben een leuke vakantie gehad in het gezellige huisje van Mevrouw Pera, die trouwens een heel vriendelijke en hulpvaardige dame is. De mooie ligging in de grote tuin tussen de olijfbomen is zeer idylisch en het grote zwembad waarvan wij dankbaar gebruik hebben gemaakt is verfrissend na een warme dag en uitstap. Alle confort is aanwezig in het huisje voor 2 maar toch voldoende ruimte gaf voor 3 personen. De directe wandeling naar Fayence die wel 2 uur in beslag nam is zeer aangenaam en lommerrijk op een warme en snikhete dag. .Het huisje is dan ook een goede uitvalbasis voor diverse rondritten in de prachtige streek en het bezoeken van de villages perches. Bovendien is de Cote d'Azur op een uurtje rijden bereikbaar. Goede raad, st Tropez bezoeken ( laat u overzetten per boot vanuit st Maxime).Bij Mevrouw Pera kan je terecht met al je vragen.
Deze vakantie is dus geslaagd. Wij keren graag terug.

Wij hebben genoten in La Bergerie, een toplocatie!!
Het ontbreekt je aan niets en het zwembad is genieten na een dag toeren of gewoon heerlijk een dag " thuis".
Een prachtige omgeving met zo veel pittoreske dorpen en stadjes !!
En daarbij is Corinne een lieve gastvrouw en heeft veel tips voor uitjes etc.
Kortom : een echte aanrader!!Mes from Amsterdam,
We hadden het heerlijk in dit knusse huisje.
Heerlijk wakker worden in het zonnetje en de rust.
De zon was heet maar daarvoor hadden we een heerlijk zwembad hier.
Een heerlijke verrassing gedurende een stilte dag of een aangename duik na een dagje uit.
Kortom heerlijk vertoeven hier en zeker niet voor het laatst!
Nog een aanrader buiten alle mooie stadjes is Vence en St. Paul de Vence beslist de moeite waard!
En St Tropez met de boot vanaf St Maxim, mooie baaitjes, rechts van het ford!
Wat uit eten betreft in Fayence Le Provencale is héérlijk, gezellig en vriendelijke mensen.Lieve Corinne bedankt voor alles, geluk en nog bedankt voor de héérlijke rosé!
