The house
Villa La Douce Noa
is located 3 km from the village of Lorgues, on a private property of 2500m2 and has a magnificent view to the Massif des Maures.
There is a large heated swimming pool of 14x6 metres and enough sun loungers and parasols for 10 people. There is a table tennis table, a jeu de boules field, a plancha to enjoy a barbecue and enough parking space for four to five cars. There is a nice lawn in front of the house and the property is fully fenced with an electric gate. The children have also been thought of: there is a trampoline and playground equipment including a slide and swing.
The holiday home has a living area of 220m2 and has air conditioning in all rooms. It has a spacious kitchen with an oven, microwave, double dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, five burner cooker, Nespresso, etc.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room with a large dining table for ten people. The kitchen also has two sliding doors to the covered terrace with another large dining table for ten people. There is a cozy living room with TV, DVD and fireplace. In the hallway there is a separate toilet and a safe for valuables.
All bedrooms have a private bathroom and two beds of 90x200cm, which can be put together. On the ground floor there is a spacious bedroom with bath, washbasin and separate toilet. On the first floor there are four bedrooms, all with their own shower, washbasin and toilet. The rooms have an attractive Provencal décor and sufficient cupboard space. The house is equipped with insect screens.

There is a nice lawn in front of the house and the property is fully fenced with an electric gate. There is also a playground for the children with a slide and swings and a trampoline.
The Provençal village of Lorgues is three kilometres away, where you will find the baker, butcher, fishmonger, various supermarkets, terraces and restaurants. In the vicinity there are numerous wine chateaux and the famous Provencal markets. Recommended is the Tuesday morning market in Lorgues. The beaches of Frejus and St. Tropez are 35 km away. The cities of Nice, Cannes, Toulon/Hyers are all within 1 hour reach.
The villas La Douce and la Douce Vince are situated next to each other.
You could, if available, with a group of up to 18 people, rent both houses.

The villa is situated on its own fenced 600m2 plot and has a private swimming pool of 8.5x3.5m, which can be closed with an electric shutter. The pool is heated (to about 26C). The garden is nicely decorated with a pool house with sitting area and pizza oven. There is also a gas BBQ. There is a covered terrace with large dining table and sun loungers by the pool to enjoy the sun. The garden has a number of old olive trees that are illuminated, so it also looks beautiful at night.
The garden is south facing, quiet, has an open view and is fully enclosed with a fence and automatic gate.
All amenities of the village Le Thoronet (the bakery, supermarket, restaurants and terraces, the market etc) are within walking distance of the house. The larger supermarkets are in Lorgues or Cannet des Maures at about 15 minutes drive from the house.

Restaurants, food & wine
There are many Provençal bistros and restaurants in the vicinity. Highly recommended is the restaurant Bruno in Lorgues, widely known as "the truffle king". There are atmospheric terraces in medieval surroundings where you can enjoy a glass of rosé under the plane trees. Activities
The house is ideally situated for a wide range of activities such as kayaking in the Argens (10 min), cycling/mountain biking and hiking through the nearby vineyards. You can play golf (3 golf courses in the area), tennis and horse riding. At about 35 minutes distance you will find the natural beauty of the Gorges du Verdon, ideal for mountain climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, pedal boating etc. Beach and sea are reachable within 45 minutes. And the ski resort is in winter within 1.5 hours reach.
