The house
Le Mûrier is a fully-equipped house with 4 bedrooms, all with box-spring beds for 2 persons, one bedroom with its own shower and washbasin, a separate studio (next to the house - private entrance) with double bed, shower, washbasin and WC, 1 bathroom in the house with walk-in shower and bathtub, 2 separate WCs (ground floor and 1st floor) large living room with fireplace (3-seater, 2-seater and club chair, dining room with large dining table, plenty of chairs and a cosy large open kitchen.
Through 4 large windows you enter the terrace overlooking the pool and garden. The house is not overlooked by neighbours. The children can have fun in the large garden with restanques.
There are plenty of sunbeds and lounge chairs.
The patio covered with grape vines is a pleasant place to be. There is also an outdoor shower next to the swimming pool.
The pool will be completely new and heated by spring 2024. (8x4)
The driveway and attached garage are large enough for two cars and bicycles. It can be fully enclosed.

Le Mûrier is located in a very quiet dead-end street 1 km from the centre of Lorgues. The house is located on a terrain with restanques of 4400m² with view on the hills and protected forest area. On the terrace you can relax under a beautiful Platane Mûrier. There is plenty of shade on and around the terrace.
The cosy market on Tuesday is one of the largest in the area. Also the surrounding villages have a fixed market day.
Lorgues is centrally located for making beautiful daytrips to Aix en Provence, Nices, Cannes, but also Saint Tropez is less than an hour away.

Restaurants, food & wine
There is a lot of variety and numerous restaurants with terraces in the village.
The world-famous truffle restaurant "Chez Bruno" is also located in Lorgues.
In the vicinity, various wine domains are established, such as Chateau de Berne (with a bistro but also a star restaurant), Chateau les Crostes, L'Arnaude, ... where you can taste and possibly have lunch or dinner.
Activities
In and around Lorgues you can go walking, cycling, swimming, canoeing, fishing and horse riding. At half an hour drive (40km) lies St Maxime and St. Tropez where you can practice many water sports. Boating, canoeing, surfing, rafting and sailing is possible on the Lac de Ste Croix in the Verdon. Beautiful surroundings for a day trip to the lake!
For cyclists, there are beautiful but tough cycling routes, to pleasant villages.

Le Murier is een bijzonder huis; door de voordeur kom je halverwege de begane grond en eerste verdieping binnen. Met een halve trap ga je naar beneden of naar boven.
Alle apparatuur is aanwezig. Er is een heel grote koelkast. WIFI geeft een sterk signaal. De ramen en deuren, alsmede de houten luiken, hield ik overdag dicht om het binnen koel te houden. De inloopdouche is heel prettig. Het zwembad is is heerlijk warm en wordt door de lokale beheerder goed schoongehouden. Het huis ligt in een rustige omgeving en overdag en 's-nachts is het stil. De garage is voor twee kleinere auto's of één grotere SUV. In geen enkele kamer is plafondverlichting, maar schemerlampen of spotjes: 's-nachts zijn de kamers daardoor vrij donker. In de omgeving is het heerlijk fietsen, en het pad over de voormalige spoorlijn tussen Flayosc via Lorgues naar Salernes, ca. 25 km lang, is fantastisch. De supermarché is gemakkelijk dichtbij. In de buurt is de bijzondere Dolmen des Adrets iets ten noorden van Brignoles een aanrader.

Wij zijn net terug van een heerlijke vakantie in het huis Le Murier. Wat een heerlijk huis! Wij voelden ons meteen thuis. De ligging (heel rustig) en toch dichtbij het dorp. Inrichting beviel ons ook erg goed en de ruimte in het huis en buiten het huis! Helaas iets te koud om gebruik te maken van het zwembad. De tuin is heerlijk en alles was aanwezig! Wij komen graag nog eens een keer terug. Bedankt!
