The house
Villa des Oliviers is a Provencal villa (ground floor) with a separate guest house. The villa is within walking distance of the charming village of Lorgues. Surrounded by olive trees on the terraced grounds of 7000 m² completely enclosed by walls, fencing and gateway, you have maximum privacy and get the ultimate "la vie en France" feeling. Open the garden doors and start the day with beautiful views! You have a swimming pool (8 x 4 m , sloping from 1.20 m deep to 2.50 m) for private use with outdoor shower. Two covered terraces and sun terrace with loungers. A boules court completes the holiday feeling. There is also a table tennis table and a brick barbecue. Interior main house: a spacious living room, kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven and nespresso coffee machine. Internet connection via optical fibre. There are two bathrooms ; one with shower , bath and toilet and one with shower and toilet ( completely renovated in 2022 ). Two bedrooms with double beds (1.40 m) and one bedroom with box spring ( 1.60 m).
Interior guest house: bathroom with shower and toilet, one bedroom with double bed (1.40 m) and one bedroom with box spring (1.60 m). Simple kitchenette (no cooker).
The presence of the guest house gives extra comfort if you are two families or several adults. Together on holiday but still some extra privacy / space.
There are two highchairs and two camping beds available.

Villa des Oliviers is situated in a quiet suburb of Lorgues. You have complete privacy on the property.
After a 20 minute walk you are in the centre of the village.
Lorgues is .a typical Provencal village with one of the largest weekly markets in the region. A wide choice of restaurants and cosy terraces and all shops for your daily needs.
Within a radius of 30 km there are many villages, each with their own atmosphere, very worthwhile. We mention Flayosc, Cotignac, Salernes, Tourtour... But also the particularly beautiful abbey of Thoronet is "around the corner".
The nearest coastal town is St Maxime at 40 km and if you are a fan of larger cities, Nice, Marseiille and Aix en Provence are of course recommended.
To the north you can reach within 45 mn the Gorges du Verdon with lac St Croix.
Nice airport 50 mn away and Marseille 1 hour and 15 mn.

Restaurants, food & wine
Apart from olives, grapes, of course, occupy an important place in this region. The house is surrounded by chateaus and their vineyards.
Go and taste and take a bottle with you to enjoy on "your own terrace" the sun that disappears and the well deserved rest.
Don't feel like cooking ? Lorgues offers a wide choice of restaurants, all open outside the main season.
Activities
Hiking and cycling routes in the immediate vicinity of the house. For water sports, drive 45 minutes towards lac St. Croix and the Gorges du Verdon. But also closer by in the Argens ( 15 min) you can make nice day trips in a canoe. The nearest golf course is 15 minutes away and within the driving distance of 1 hour you have a choice of more than 10 golf courses.

Further remarks
Some practical matters:
The swimming pool has a depth of 1.20 to 2.50 metres. The whole area is fenced and lockable.
Bed linen hire is compulsory, towels optional. Kitchen towels must be brought by yourself.
The camp beds are equipped with mattresses and mosquito nets but no duvet or blanket.
