The house
Villa La Douce Vince was completely renovated in the spring and is situated 2 km from the cosy village of Lorgues, on a fenced private property of 4000 m2, and has a particularly beautiful view towards the Massif des Maures. These are some of the reasons why the house recently received an official 5-star rating.
The house is also comfortably furnished, all on the ground floor and suitable for 10 people. There is a large heated swimming pool of 15 by 6.5 metres surrounded by comfortable sun loungers and parasols. A table tennis table, trampoline and a slide make it a paradise for children too.
There is a covered terrace, a hammock to dream away in and a beautiful lawn for the children to play on.
The villas la Douce and la Douce Vince are situated next to each other.
If available, you could rent both houses with a group of up to 20 people.
EXTERIOR
Through the entrance gate and driveway you reach the spacious parking area in front of the house.
There is a large heated swimming pool of 15 by 6.5 metres which slopes down to a depth of about 2 metres. On the photos you see the previous pool. The last 2 pictures are the renewed pool and terrace. There are comfortable sun loungers and parasols for a relaxing day by the pool. The landscaped garden is flat and fenced with a large covered terrace with a dining table to enjoy a delicious lunch.
In short, an ideal holiday home for a family with children. The house is right by the beautiful E8 cycle route.
INTERIOR
Villa la Douce Vince is a fine, "en pierre" light and modern house. It has a habitable surface of 190 m2. Through the large sliding doors from the kitchen and living room you have access to a terrace with large dining table and a fantastic panoramic view. The villa has a bright modern open kitchen with cooking island and is equipped with an oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, gas cooker and an espresso machine. In the kitchen there is a dining table for 8 people. Next to the kitchen there is a large covered terrace with a dining table and chairs. Villa la Douce Vince has a spacious modern furnished living room with a fireplace, comfortable couch, cosy seats, Tv, Apple TV and Wifi.
The 4 spacious bedrooms are all located on the ground floor, which can be reached via some steps from the living room. Bedroom 5 is accessible from the outside and all bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and tiolet. All rooms have an attractive Provençal (en pierre) interior, have air conditioning and sufficient closet space. Furthermore, the windows are equipped with mosquito nets and shutters.

Een waanzinnig mooie villa... Wat hebben wij genoten!! Fantastische locatie, mooie omgeving, veel te doen. Maar ook genoeg ruimte om helemaal tot rust te komen. We zouden heel graag terug willen komen!

Een prachtige villa ,waar we geen enkel minpuntje kunnen bedenken .goudschoon en alles was aanwezig ,lorgues was op loop ,fiets en met de auto makkelijk te bereiken,heerlijk groot zwembad.en fietsend hebben we heerlijk de omgeving bekeken .een echte aanrader voor een ontspannende vacantie en zeker de moeite waard voor een ontzorgende vacantie.❤️
Restaurants, food & wine
The large supermarkets can be found in the village of Lorgues which is about 3 km from your holiday accommodation. Here you will also find several artisan bakers, a butcher, a fishmonger, 3 supermarkets, several banks, a post office and many attractive terraces of bars and restaurants. There are many Provençal bistros and restaurants in the vicinity. We recommend the modern restaurant of Chateau Mentone in St. Antonin. They work a lot with local biological products and serve the delicious wine from their own chateau.
The Bistro of Château de Berne in Lorgues is also an excellent recommendation. During the summer, this chateau organises pleasant evenings with live jazz music.
Around Lorgues, there are various wine estates and the well-known Provençal markets. Recommended is the cosy, very large, Tuesday morning market in Lorgues. Another market, but smaller, can also be visited on Tuesday mornings in Cotignac, 20 km away. The villages Sillans la Cascade, Salernes, Flayosc, Tourtour and Aups are all within a radius of 20 km and are well worth a visit.
The beaches of Fréjus and St. Tropez are at 35 km.
The cities of Aix-en-Provence, Nice, Cannes, Toulon/Hyeres can all be reached in about 1 hour by car.

The Provencal village of Lorgues is two kilometres away, where you will find the baker, butcher, fishmonger, various supermarkets, terraces and restaurants. In the vicinity there are numerous wine chateaux and the famous Provencal markets. A real must is the Tuesday morning market in Lorgues. The beaches of Frejus and St. Tropez are 35 km away. The cities of Nice, Cannes, Toulon/Hyers can all be reached within 1 hour.
In the centre of Lorgues (3.0 km) is a playground for the children with climbing frames, swings, a zip wire, etc.
The house is ideally situated for a wide range of activities such as fishing, kayaking, cycling/mountain biking and walking through the nearby vineyards. In addition to fantastic picnic spots along the banks of the Argens, a canoe trip on this river is also highly recommended.
Canoe rental companies can be found at several locations.
There are more than 10 golf courses in the area. Tennis and horse riding are also possible. At about 45 minutes distance, you will find the natural beauty of the Gorges du Verdon, ideal for mountain climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, pedal boating etc. Beach and sea can be reached within ca. 45 minutes.
