The house
Maison Brenton is a cosy holiday home just 10 minutes from the village of Tavernes. You can get a baguette and croissant in the morning. There are two cosy pubs in the village.
The house is comfortably equipped for 6 people. As soon as you drive through the electric gate, you have plenty of parking space at your disposal.
The entrance to the house is also directly into the kitchen.
Through the kitchen you enter the cosily furnished living room with Smart TV and Wifi. From there, you walk to the sleeping area. 3 Bedrooms are all equipped with double beds. There are 2 spacious bathrooms equipped with sink and shower. There is a separate toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with induction hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine and fridge.
There is also a utility room with a washing machine. In the basement there is also a large fridge with freezer.
The living room and conservatory open onto the spacious terrace with swimming pool. You also have a large garden which is fully fenced. Handy if you bring your dog.

The location is ideal in an environment that lends itself to countless interesting excursions: a range of attractive Provencal villages, each with their own market day. Tavernes is centrally located to all attractions, such as the famous Gorges du Verdon, the Lac St. Croix (canoeing, rafting, sailing), the Mediterranean Sea and the larger cities such as Aix en Provence and Draguignan. If you are looking for some sportive challenges, you can do that too; starting from our own terrain, you can enjoy hours of fun on a mountain bike in this beautiful area.
Activities
You walk in 10 minutes to the centre of Tavernes where you will find a bakery, a small supermarket, a café and a restaurant. It is a 5 minute (6 km) drive to the lively centre of the town of Barjols. In this town you will find bakers, butchers and a supermarket as well as several nice restaurants and terraces. Barjols is a town with a rich history and is known for its 42 fountains and 4 rivers. The architecture of Barjols has been determined by all this water for centuries. Barjols is about 55 km from Aix en Provence and 30 km from the Gorges du Verdon and the Lac de Sainte Croix. The Mediterranean Sea is an hour away. For hikers there are endless beautiful hiking trails, including Grande Randonée 99. Nice restaurants in the area : Barjols : "le Restau" - place du Mairie. Ginasservis : " la Bergerie " St Maximin la Ste Baume : gastronomic " Hotel de France " Coté Jardin " Cotignac : " la Table de la Fontaine " Correns : gastronomic " l'Auberge du Parc.
