Maison Montchou

Maison Mont Chou is a very comfortable house with cosy furnishings, lots of privacy and stunning views! With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, Maison Montchou is very suitable for 2 families or several couples. When the annexe is also rented at the additional price mentioned, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are added.

Ground floor:
The cosy living room with loft is connected to the terrace with French doors. Next to the seating area, two steps down, is the TV corner with fireplace. Dutch television channels are available as well as a DVD/CD player. The living room is connected to the dining room, which is also connected to the terrace by french windows and from the 8-person dining table you have a view of the swimming pool and the beautiful view over the valley. Wifi connection is available throughout the house and garden.

Through the dining room you enter the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooker (4 burners), oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer and Nespresso machine. You then enter the hallway where you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bathroom has a toilet, double sink and shower. Next door is the children's room. There is a single bed with a trundle bed (which can also be used as a double bed). Opposite is a double bedroom with a double bed. The rear double bedroom has direct access to a beautiful bathroom with a bathtub, walk-in shower, double washbasin and a separate toilet.

First floor:
Between the living room and dining room is the staircase to the first floor. The staircase leads to the mezzanine where you can sit down to read or have a quiet moment at the computer. Three steps lead to a small hallway where you will find a toilet, the third bathroom and the master bedroom. The renovated bathroom has a double sink and a shower. The master bedroom has a double bed, spacious wardrobes and a balcony with beautiful views of the garden and surroundings. In the distance, you can see the village of Tourrettes.

The lovely garden has a large heated swimming pool with overflow and plenty of loungers and seats to enjoy the shade and/or sun. There is also an outdoor shower. The outdoor kitchen has a fixed barbecue and a second fridge. In the morning you can enjoy breakfast here in the French sun. Further on in the garden is a jeu de boules court for some exercise in addition to relaxation.

As the house has a heated swimming pool, central heating and fireplace, it is also very suitable to rent in the pleasant spring and autumn and even in winter this is an ideal villa. If desired, you can have the pool heated to 26C in spring and autumn. The price is 100 Euro per week. In July and August the pool water has a lovely temperature by itself.

Annexe:
The renovated annexe is located 50 metres from the house and has its own parking space and 2 terraces with a table for 4 people. On the ground floor there is a sitting/dining room with kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. On the first floor there is a second double bedroom and another additional bathroom. It is important to note that there is no Wi-Fi connection in the annexe.
