The house
La belle is the converted caretaker's house belonging to the owner's house. La belle is only rented out when the owner is not there.
The house is suitable for a maximum of 2 persons.
This pool, grounds and house are not recommended for small children. For less mobile people this house and terrain are also not recommended.
It consists of a living room with dining area and spacious seating area.
The sofa bed can easily be converted into a comfortable sofa bed.
There is also an open kitchen with electric 4-burner hob, fridge and washing machine.
There is 1 spacious bedroom with a 160 x 200 double bed. The bedroom has enough cupboard space to store all your clothes neatly.
The bathroom has a single washbasin and spacious shower. The toilet is separate.

La Belle is situated on its own grounds of 10 Ha.
You can walk to the village but this is only for experienced hikers as it is a steep and quite long walk. The house is situated at a 10 minute drive from the village.
As Tourtour is a protected village, it is kept car-free during the summer months. There are plenty of parking places at 5 to 10 minutes walking distance.
The centre of Tourtour is very cosy and you can walk here for hours. Nice terraces, restaurants and many small galleries make the party complete.
Groceries can be bought in the small supermarket and there is also a bakery. Bigger groceries can be done in Salernes, 15 minutes away. Here you have many large supermarkets, butchers and bakers.

Restaurants, food & wine
You can just cook yourself or use the brick BBQ of the owners but there is no lack of good food in Tourtour and its surroundings.
From tasty French cuisine to starred restaurants. You will find everything in Tourtour. With more than 10 restaurants in the village you can try something different every day.
Wine tasting in the neighbourhood is also possible. In Villecroze, there are some large chateau's that are worth visiting.
For the truffle lover Aups is a must to visit. Especially in the winter months with the black truffle that has its own weekly market.
Activities
The house is set in wooded grounds.
There is an 11m x 6m swimming pool next to the house. Ideal for those who like to swim laps. This pool, grounds and house are therefore not recommended for small children.
The pool is not heated.
Furthermore, in the vicinity of a 1-hour drive you can practice all kinds of water sports in the Gorges du Verdon, you can go horseback riding in Montmeyan or go-karting in Le Luc.
Nice markets nearby are in Lorgues, Salernes or Aups.
Tourtour has been voted 1 of the most beautiful villages in France and with its altitude of 800 m, the view all around is spectacular. Its nickname of "village dans le ciel" is therefore very well chosen.

The house is not suitable for wheelchair users or very small children.
This is a house in a nature zone. Bees, wasps and ants love nature. A boar or a deer may pass by.
