Location: This house is located in the Provence Alps Cote d'Azur region in the town of Vidauban. Famous places nearby: St Tropez, Cannes and Nice.

The house has a large defined garden. It is a child-friendly holiday home. Your child or children can play there nicely. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this accommodation.
The house is located near the beach (sea) and a lake. So there is plenty of opportunity for swimming.

The holiday house in Vidauban is in a quiet location against a green hill.
The property is very conveniently located for day trips.
The accommodation has a communal swimming pool and tennis court.

Our house is situated 1 km from the lively village of Vidauban, in the beautiful surroundings of Provence with its lovely climate. The village has many facilities such as English speaking doctors and shops. The house has a view of a beautiful green hill/mountain. Various picturesque Provencal villages such as Lorgues, Flayosc, Salernes, Tourtour and Cotignac are in the vicinity. Larger cities such as Antibes, Nice, Cannes and Monaco at 1 hour drive and even Italy is not far away.
Every day brocante-, antique- and provencal markets in the neighbourhood.
Airports of Nice, Marseille and Toulon are 1 hour drive from our house.
The Mediterranean beaches of St. Tropez, St. Maxime, Frejus/St. Raphael are 30/ 40 km from the house.
The Gorges du Verdon (Grand Canyon of France) and Lac St. Croix at 65 km are highly recommended.
It is also fun to follow the Vincent van Gogh route which runs along villages such as Arles, Saint-Remy-de-Provence.

Wij zijn in de herfstvakantie met twee kinderen naar het huisje geweest en dat is ons meer dan prima bevallen.
Het huisje was schoon, heeft een grote tuin, is voorzien van alles wat we nodig hadden en de omgeving was erg mooi.

Leuk vakantiehuis, lekker schoon en alles erop en eraan. Lekkere bedden en binnen een seconde bloedheet water. We hebben twee weken genoten. De ligging is perfect voor uitstapjes naar welke kant dan ook.

Een heerlijk klein huis met alles erop en eraan. Goed voor 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. We hebben 2 weken genoten van het weer en de omgeving. Ondanks de coronaregels was er genoeg te doen. Een half uurtje van de zee en de brocante markten in de Provence en de Var. Op het park was een mooi zwembad aanwezig alleen waren er geen bedjes waar je even kon relaxen. Verder was de tuin groot genoeg om overal te zitten. Of in de zon of schaduw. Er waren ook fijne tuinstoelen met kussens. Was echt een pré. We hebben 2 weken genoten.

Restaurants, food & wine
Various (wine) chateaus with good wines (tasting rooms) in the vicinity, e.g. Sainte Roseline and Des Demoiselles.
Furthermore, the kitchen of Provence is as colourful as the landscape. Many fish dishes e.g. the famous bouillabaisse (fish soup) or Moules-de-Provence (mussels). Nearby, you will find several good to very good starred restaurants. Truffle restaurant of Chez Bruno in Lorgues, Ducasse (see Tonny Eijk's books).
In Vidauban there are a number of good to very good restaurants to be found, such as La Concorde or Bastide des Magnans. But of course there are also the Mac Donalds or crêpes for the children.
Every day Provencal markets with the most delicious food and herbs in the vicinity.

Further remarks
In the summer months, a lifeguard is present at the swimming pool. There are six green wristbands in the house which are necessary to enter the swimming pool.
You need to bring your own kitchen towels, dish towels and bed linen (sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases (for a bunk bed and a double bed)).
There are two blankets, 4 pillows and two single duvets available.
The collection of the key/batch is arranged in mutual consultation.
This key/batch has to be returned within 5 days after the last rental day. Route: You have to follow the Route du soleil in the direction of Avignon, Aix en Provence. About 83 km past Aix en Provence on the A-8 in the direction of Cannes, take the Vidauban/Le Luc/Toulon exit and continue in the direction of Vidauban via the Route National 7.
After 7 km at the roundabout, take the direction "D84- Le Thoronet". After 300 metres on this road you will find the Residence "Le clos des vignes" on the left. Halfway to the Residence you will find the entrance and to the left the parking. The parking places are numbered.
Your parking space is number 47. The car park is enclosed by a gate. You can open the gate with a batch.
The final cleaning can be outsourced for a fee of € 65, the availability of this option is on request.
If you have to do the final cleaning yourself, you will not be charged for it. The costs for water and electricity are included in the regular tariff. The tourist tax is Euro 2.00 per person per night.
Rental periods run from Saturday (from 3 p.m.) to Saturday (10 a.m.). Before you make a reservation, we would greatly appreciate it if you would contact us by telephone to see whether the information provided is sufficiently clear (tel. nr. 06-37443290), Mr. Joosten).
The reservation will only become final when 35% of the amount due has actually been transferred. The remainder must be paid 5 weeks before departure.
