Summer - please note that there is no water shortage here in this [art of Provence. . The pool is full and heated to 30 degrees via an air source heat pump and solar panels and will remain so until the end of September,
A beautiful spacious newly built sunny apartment facing south. The apartment was first available to rent in 2021. This lovely private apartment is ground floor and is only a few steps from the large shared heated pool (5m x 11m) with easy access to the vineyards, olive grove, hammocks, ,petanque pitch, etc. The apartment has its own shady terrace with chairs, table and BBQ and its own sun loungers which leads off the kitchen door.
The property is rated three star Meubles de Tourisme and is only advertised on gites.com so availability is up to date, There are only two apartments on the property - Syrah with two bedrooms and Grenache with one bedroom so there is a maximum of six guests on the entire property at any time to ensure everyone has space and privacy.
There is a large well equipped kitchen, lounge, spacious bedroom and bathroom and walk in wardrobe. It is well equipped and disabled friendly. There are no steps and very easy flat access from the secure car park to the apartment. The apartment has ramps, grab handles, extra wide doors, elevated toilet and shower chair,. walk in shower and the oven and microwave are designed for someone with restricted ability. Please dont hesitate to contact us with any specific questions regarding your needs.
It is an ideal get away for two people to enjoy beautiful Provence.
There is a large flat screen TV but the TV is tuned to English programmes only
The pool and grounds are shared only with the owners (Rob and Auriel ) and one two bedroomed apartment so it never crowded. The car park is secure off road parking. The property is an easy stroll to the village of Caromb which boasts many little shops and wine bars as well as a good supermarket.

Wat hebben wij hier genoten van deze locatie en ruim appartement. Wat een rust met fantastisch uitzicht over de wijngaard, olijfbomen en bergen. Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst door Robert en Auriel en hun traktaties (wijn, olijfolie, etc.) hebben ons zeer gesmaakt. Zij zijn erg behulpzaam en denken mee om het verblijf nog aangenamer te maken. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en voor mindervaliden goed toegankelijk met rolstoel of rollator. Een aanrader en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar !!

Gedurende een week in appartement La Syrah verbleven. Appartement van alle gemakken voorzien. Schitterend uitzicht over de eigen wijngaard van Auriel en Robert. Super mooi zwembad! De eigenaren, Auriel en Robert zijn super gastvrij. Perfecte uitvalbasis voor zowel wielrenners als toerfietsers. Absolute aanrader en niet ondenkbaar dat we hier nog een keer terug gaan.

Fantastische plek om te verblijven in de Provence. Heerlijk huisje met airco, was nodig met 42C, en groot zwembad. Auriel en Robert waren ontzettend aardig en gastvrij, we hebben erg genoten van de vijgen, cherry tomaten en wijn uit eigen tuin! Ze hadden ook nog goede tips voor restaurants, wijnboeren en fiets routes in de buurt. We komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Restaurants, food & wine
We have a two excellent wine bars and two restaurants within the village (walking distance) as well as plenty more nearby.
We are in the Ventoux appellation for wine, which has been described as an undiscovered gem by wine experts - we tend to agree!
Famous for wine, goats cheese, cherries, apricots, figs, lavender, olives, We are blessed to be in such a super lcoation
Activities
We are very close to Mont Ventoux for keen cyclists but there are plenty of lovely cycle rides through the cherry orchards and vineyards fort those of us who take life at a more leisurely pace.
The famous city of Avignon is about 20 minutes drive away (no visit is complete without going to the papal palace and seeing the famous bridge) and Pont du Gard is about an hours drive away.
There are Provencal markets most days of the week and during the summer plenty of festivals and activities going on. Canyoning is not far away either. There is a large waterpark at Monteux which is popular with the children.
