    Wij zijn net terug van een heerlijke week vakantie samen met onze avontuurlijke Shiba Inu. Hele fijne locatie voor mens en dier. Honden kunnen en mogen met een gerust hart vrij rondlopen. Huisje is heel compleet en netjes. Scheelt veel gedoe met spullen zoals linnengoed en handdoeken. Leuke omgeving. De gastvrouw Machteld is ontzettend vriendelijk en heeft leuke tips!

    Weer thuis na een fantastisch verblijf in vakantiehuis 'Aritimi' in Mazan (Vaucluse). We komen hier sinds 2014 ieder jaar (soms 2x!). Aritimi is een comfortabel huis met een zeer complete keuken en buiten een grote bbq. Heb je geen zin om te koken, in Mazan en andere nabije dorpjes struikel je over de goede restaurants. De fraaie moerbeiboom op het terras biedt voldoende schaduw om op zonnige dagen (en die zijn er veel) buiten te blijven. Diverse zitjes, ligbedden, een zwembad, ja zelfs een roeimachine zijn aanwezig. Heb je een hond en/of fiets je graag? Dit huis is dan ideaal: honden zijn er meer dan welkom (het gehele terrein is ommuurd) en fietsers zitten in een van de mooiste gebieden van Frankrijk, met de Mont Ventoux op 10km afstand en natuurlijk ook de prachtige lavendelvelden rondom Sault en diverse gorges (kloven) in de Vaucluse, Luberon, Drôme etc. Dagje naar Nice of Aix en Provence? Eigenaresse Machteld past graag op je hond. Zij haalt ook desgewenst verse croissants in de ochtend! Het huis biedt veel privacy. Kortom: dit is een vakantiehuis zoals je je een vakantiehuis wenst!

    Een kleine opmerking wat betreft het terrein : zwembadgedeelte is geheel ommuurd - de rest van het terrein geheel omheind met ofwel muur van 2 meter ofwel een hek (1.50 meter) met een heg er voor die hoger dan het hek is.

    Wat een geweldige plek om vakantie te vieren. Wij zijn hier sinds 2015 al 4 keer geweest en het is altijd weer een feest. Wij noemen het het paradijs, want aan alles is gedacht en Machteld is een geweldige gastvrouw die er alles voor over heeft om het ons naar onze zin te maken. Ook onze twee honden kunnen de hele dag in de volledige omheinde tuin van meer dan 5000 m2 hun gang gaan. Ook de omgeving is prachtig en alle faciliteiten, zoals winkels en restaurants, zijn binnen handbereik.
    Helaas konden we dit voorjaar niet komen maar zodra het weer mogelijk is, gaan we weer snel die kant op.
    Al met al kunnen wij niet anders dan de maximale score geven.

Restaurants, food & wine

In Mazan there are several restaurants; in a circle of 15 kilometres many possibilities, with a very good quality. Suggestions available.

The property is ideal for people who want to go on holiday with their dogs. The whole area is fenced and dogs are welcome all over the place. Food bowls, baskets, cushions and (possibly) benches (sizes on request) are available.
