There are plenty of facilities around the cottage for a pleasant stay, for young and old alike.
The facilities are conveniently divided into:
-A summer garden including hammocks, boules court and a generous lounge area/reading corner.
-The barbecue corner, you can use our 2 large BBQs free of charge.
-A swimming pool (60m2) with children's pool (15m2), lounge-bags and colourful loungers.
-A large play forest (500m2) with lots of different play equipment for all ages.
It is shaded area surrounded by trees where children can have fun in the play forest. Every age is catered for. A large trampoline, lots of climbing and swinging equipment and an Indian enclosure. There is a football goal badminton net and a table tennis table. There are also several themed houses with a surprising number of toys especially for the youngest guests.
-Multiple facilities are available that you can undertake together with your family, unt. Including:
-A boules court, table tennis table, giant (XXL) outdoor chess set, family games etc.
- Kiosk with board games and books/magazines.
-There are 6 bicycles at your disposal (free of charge)
-A narrow Ouvèze river flows within 100 metres walking distance.
All facilities are entirely optional and free of charge!

Holiday home Rendez-Vous is with 10 gîtes a Dutch, small-scale, child-friendly and atmospheric holiday home located in the beautiful surroundings of the Mont Ventoux .

Or would you rather take part in the (group) activities?

The accommodation is perfect for family holidays and offers plenty of peace and privacy if you stay with us together.

At Rendez-Vous, group activities are organised jointly.
On fixed days spread over the week, 3 activities are presented to you.
Guests will undertake these activities together; a fun way to get to know each other.
You choose the activity(s) you join. Everything is without obligation and free of charge. You can participate in 1 or more activities, stay at the park or prefer to do the activity with your family.

There is an activity folder in the gite in which each activity is mapped out for you; what does the activity involve, on which day does it take place, for whom is it suitable and what do you bring.
There is a set time listed what time everyone gathers at the accommodation.

*In case of bad weather, the schedule for the week in question will be changed by mutual agreement.
*During the activity, there is no supervision; guests go out together.
*Each activity is at your own risk and the responsibility therefore lies with the guests/parents.
Of course, you can also undertake the activity independently.

-The village
Holiday home Rendez-Vous is located in the village of Roaix in the Vaucluse department. The village is quietly situated among the vast vineyards west of Vaison la Romaine.
Roaix has a supermarket in the village 200 metres from the accommodation. You will also find a bakery, butcher, grocer, a post office and several wine caves. Regularly there is a pizza seller at the supermarket.

-6 km from Roaix is Vaison la Romaine, best known for the many Roman remains in the old town. Everything can be found in this charming town.
Besides the many cosy terraces, markets and restaurants Vaison la Romaine has, you will also find the necessary shops, amenities and larger supermarkets.

-Cyclists
The area is ideal for cyclists, mountain bikers and racing cyclists because of the many known and unknown routes in the surroundings of the Mont Ventoux. In every gîte there is a folder with cycling routes suitable for both the daily cyclist and the experienced cyclists among us.
Besides our bikes, which you can use free of charge, for serious climbs and distances it is advisable to rent a (racing) bike in Vaison la Romaine.
If you bring your own bike, you can store it in your gîte.
If you are interested, it is possible to receive the routes digitally via e-mail in advance.

-Special places nearby:

Seguret
Through the cobbled streets of Seguret, you walk uphill past the medieval houses. A historic village with beautiful views in several places. 4 km from the accommodation.

Brantes
On the north side of Mont Ventoux, you can discover the village of Brantes. The unique thing about this village is its location among the mountains.
From a magnificent terrace under a bamboo roof, you get a good idea of how gigantic Mont Ventoux is. Don't forget to visit the authentic village. 25 km from the accommodation.

Sault
Surrounded by the vast lavender fields, this place is worth a visit in every way.
The purple landscape, the courtyard with terraces, the various souvenir shops and the various routes that lead to this place. In short, Provence in a nutshell.

Gigondas
The famous vineyards of Gigondas lie at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail.
With several routes around the Dentelles, exploring the area around Gigondas is recommended. Several hiking routes lead to the jagged peaks of the Dentelles.

Cornillac
In the small village of Cornillac near Remuzat is a beautiful blue lake situated amidst the mountains. You can swim here and linger around the lake while enjoying the beautiful surroundings in the Drôme. 45 km from the accommodation.

Drôme
This is perhaps the most beautiful area in France. Whatever road you take, you never drive the wrong way.
Breathtaking are the views of the wild contours of the landscape between the perched villages. Near Nyons 20 km from our accommodation, you already drive into the Drôme.
