The house
Holiday home La Fleurie in Sarrians is made in an old farmer's barn and of course it is fully equipped.
You enter the house into a cosy atmospheric spacious living room with dining area and a fully equipped open provencal kitchen.
The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner gas cooker, a large fridge with freezer (3 drawers), an old-fashioned coffee maker
a Nespresso and a Senseo, microwave, small oven and a kettle.
On the same floor is the spacious bathroom with washbasin, toilet and a nice big shower.
On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms, both with 1 double bed (160x200).
One bedroom has air conditioning and the other a good Fan. The air conditioning only works in the evenings and at night.
The private attractive terrace right in front of your flat is equipped with garden furniture, two sun loungers and a BBQ.
In the garden is the swimming pool (11.0 x 5.5 metres).
From the pool and the atmospheric terrace in front of your flat you really have a wonderful view of Mont Ventoux.
The pool (which is also occasionally used by the owner himself) is normally open from May to October, weather permitting.
You can also use the internet for free. (via Wifi)
Unfortunately, the gite is not suitable for children.

Hier al regelmatig geweest...zo,n heerlijk plekje. Fijn huis, heerlijk bed, complete keuken. Je komt hier helemaal tot rust. Veel leuke dorpjes in de buurt en mooie fiets omgeving. Echt een aanrader...en de gastvrouw is top.
Restaurants, food & wine
The wine villages, Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Châteauneuf-du-Pape are all around 10-15 minutes' drive away.
You can therefore taste the most delicious wines at several caves.
The village of Beaume de Venise, famous for its delicious Muscat wine, is practically around the corner.
You can also enjoy a delicious and cosy lunch or dinner in the various surrounding mountain villages.
Of course, you can also visit the cultural cities of Avignon, Orange, Nîmes and Arles.
Every day there is a Provençal market somewhere you can visit.
On Sunday afternoon, for example, you can go to L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue for the weekly antique market.
Actually, there is just too much to mention.
The area is so varied that you can visit something beautiful or interesting every day
but a day lazing around and enjoying the silence in the sunshine by the pool is also possible.
Activities
You can play golf in Avignon (15 min away), Orange and L'isle sur la Sorgue (25 min), among others
For lovers of bicycles, you have come to the right place.
These are easy to rent in the area and will also be brought to our house if you would like.
Sarrians has its own cycle route that will gently guide you between the
various vineyards.
You can now cycle on a specially built cycle path (via Venaissia) from Sarrians to almost Orange and from Sarrians to Pernes les Fontaines.
The final route that is now really almost finished will run between Piolenc, Mornas, Orange, Jonquieres, Sarrians, Loriol-Du-Comtat, Carpentras, Pernes-Les-Fontaines, Velleron, L'isle-Sur-La-Sorgue
If you prefer mountain biking, you can enjoy the area of the
Dentelles de Montmirail at 15 minutes cycling distance.
This is also a unique area for hikers and nature lovers.
Within 45 minutes you can be on top of Mont Ventoux.
If you like fishing, you can go within walking distance to the river Ouvèze where the trout hide.
In high season, unfortunately, it often happens that the river is dry.

Further remarks
Prices include linen (bed linen, towels and kitchen linen).
Should you wish to wash in between, you can use the washing machine.
We ask a fee of 5€ for this.
(Detergent and fabric softener are provided with the machine).

Cleaning fee 65.00 euro. (This will be deducted from the deposit afterwards)
In high season (July and August) you can only use the air conditioning in the evenings. The air conditioning is only present in 1 bedroom and the other bedroom is a good Fan.
In the village itself you will find several cosy restaurants and several bakeries, butchers and an Intermarche and a large Lidl.
