The house
This holiday home in Provence is fully equipped for 6 people.
On the ground floor two covered terraces. One adjacent to the living room with a 6-seater dining table) and a sitting area in front overlooking the small Luberon . To the side a space with picnic table that you can put wherever you want, a barbecue and a few tables with director's chairs that you can put wherever you want, at the edge of the pool or under the canopy by the pool. In that area are also the umbrellas , chairs and beds for the pool. The pool has an electric roller cover
Inside a spacious living room, cozy kitchen, spacious toilet, entrance hall.
On the first floor three spacious bedrooms, with double beds (with separate mattresses). Two bathrooms; one with bath/shower and two washbasins, the other with shower and two washbasins. The bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets and air conditioning. If you want to sleep with an open window, use the mosquito nets. Would you like to sleep in the coolness then use the air conditioning. There is an indoor loggia with seating.
Dutch and Belgian radio and TV with Youtube and Netflix.
The kitchen is equipped with electric hobs, oven and microwave and dishwasher.
Furthermore, the kitchen is fully equipped. Outside is a gas barbeque
which you can use. Please clean well after use, this also for the next guests.
The house stands on a plot of 3,000 metres, so you will not be bothered by neighbours. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a large lavender plant / and five olive trees, a large mulberry tree for shade in front of the door with a place where you can play boules. To the left of the house is a 10x5-metre swimming pool, which also has a canopy with a reed mat for sunbathing. The pool is surrounded by plants and shrubs, so you have complete privacy.

This holiday villa is located in a villa park called Les Demeures du Luc. This domaine consists of 43
villas and was built about 12 years ago. The villas are therefore still relatively new and the gardens are fully grown. The villas are situated on spacious plots, so that privacy and tranquillity are guaranteed. Most villas have their own swimming pool. There is a central building in which the reception is housed, with bread service and a help desk. There is also a large swimming pool with sun terrace, a children's pool and a bowling alley. The swimming pool is mainly intended for residents who do not have their own swimming pool and for children who especially like to play with other children.
Some of the residents use the villa only for private living, some have the villa entirely intended for rental. We use the villa ourselves in spring and autumn. In the summer the villa is made available to guests. We and our guests like this formula. The guests come to stay in a villa that is fully furnished and offers all the comforts one could wish for.
The villa park is situated in the Luberon, the most beautiful part of the Provence. Medieval villages, charming terraces under the plane trees, beautiful village squares, daily Provencal markets nearby, lavender fields, fruit orchards.
But also beautiful cities, such as Avignon (world famous theatre festival in July), Aix en Provence and Marseille. Moreover, the Mediterranean Sea is an hour's drive away. Worth mentioning is the immediate presence (5 minutes) of the famous antique city Isle sur la Sorgue. 300 dealers are located in the city! Every Sunday there is an antique market. After Paris it is the biggest antique city of France. In the city there are numerous terraces on the banks of the river, where it is good to stay.
At 2 minutes distance there is a beautiful 18-hole golf course.
The owner of the villa has written a booklet especially for the guests about the sights of the region. There are many. In the book you can read about beautiful cities and charming villages and other attractions, such as : Avignon,L Isle sur la Sorgue, Roussillon, le canal de Carpentras, Fontaine de Vaucluse, the plague wall, le Beaucet, Venasque, the Via Domitia, the abbey of Senanque, Mont Ventoux, the hermitage of Saint Gens, Oppede le Vieux, the Cote du Rhone, Sault, the bories, Vaison la Romaine, Orange, Apt, and Gordes. Tenants will find a free copy of the booklet in the villa so that they can quickly find their way around the region.

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in dit mooie huis met veel privacy. Uitstekend zwembad, goede beschutte ligging. Mooi, rustig park. Vriendelijke en behulpzame beheerders. In de omgeving veel dingen om te doen, wandelen, kajakken, truffels zoeken, musea. We hebben genoten van de culinaire restaurants in de omgeving!

Restaurants, food & wine
The Luberon is a culinary region par excellence. The region produces olives, truffles, aromatic herbs (lavender, thyme, rosemary) and an abundance of fruit in all shapes and sizes.
There is a wide range of restaurants, from simple bistros to renowned starred restaurants.
A lot of wine is produced. Especially the pink wines of Provence are among the best in the world. A few kilometres away, you will find the vignobles of the Cote du Rhone, such as Chateauneuf du Pape, Gigondas, Vaquyras and Baume de Venise.
Provencal cuisine is mostly simple, but based on the best products imaginable.
Activities
There is a lot to do. There is a beautiful golf course one kilometre away.
The park has a tennis court at your disposal.
If you like a quieter game, take a bottle of rose to the petanque court next to the reception. You can also play a game of petanque at the front door.
The region is an eldorado for walkers. From the house you can walk into the woods with a connection to the Grand Randonnees, where you can walk for hours without meeting anyone. The manager can also tell you where you can rent bikes in the neighbourhood.
You can make a canoe trip on the Sorgue. You then sail in 100% source water! Well cold water. Always 13 gr.
For slightly older children and adults there is a climbing playground nearby. You can fish in a trout pond, horseback riding and canoeing. There is, in addition to the private pool a communal pool next to the reception so if your children want to play with other children that is so cozy.
In the vicinity are villages and towns that are very worthwhile, such as the papal city of Avignon, the antique village Isle sur la Sorgue, the attractive university town Aix en Provence and the many villages with terraces, markets, churches, castles, etc.

Further remarks
The holiday home is located on a plot of more than 3000 square metres. You will not be bothered by neighbours.
The swimming pool is completely private and surrounded by flowers and plants. You imagine yourself in paradise. The garden runs into a forest. Next to the pool is a pergola that filters the sunlight. Even on sunny days (and there are many in Provence) you can therefore all day in the sun or sit.
The house is a beautiful garden with a large lavender field. In the months of May to August, when the bushes bloom, it is a beauty.
The house has two covered terraces with views of the Alpilles, the Luberon and the Monts de Vaucluse.

The Dutch speaking manager will receive you and guide you to the villa. The manager will help you during your holiday in case of any problems (e.g. doctor's visit, dentist, etc.) They also have all the information you need about places of interest in the region. They also provide the bread service. The fresh croissants and rolls that you have ordered can be picked up in the morning.
We advise you to bring your own bath towels for the swimming pool.
The deposit is EUR 450, to be paid by pre-authorised credit card (Visa or Mastercard only).
Additional price info and offers
The price includes the use of the villa with swimming pool, electricity, wifi, towels, kitchen linen and beds made at the start of your holiday. The additional costs consist of the cleaning at the end of the rental period (€120) and the tourist tax (5% of the rental price).If you use the charging facility for an electric car, please report the meter reading by e-mail. The cost is €0.40 per kw.
A charge of €37.50 will be made for pets due to extra cleaning costs.
On arrival, the managers will ask you to leave a deposit of €450 for any damage. You do not have to pay the deposit. A preauthorisation on the credit card is sufficient.
As required, you can hire the following from the caretaker:
