Villa Pure Provence
Our beautiful, detached 8-person villa with private pool on the domaine Les Demeures du Luc has a very well-kept interior and is really well equipped. The private pool can be heated on request and the villa has separate air conditioning for all 4 bedrooms as well as the kitchen and living room. The rooms are spacious, modern and tastefully decorated.

The layout of the villa is as follows:

The terraces have beautiful teak garden furniture. You always have a beautiful view of the (heated) private pool and garden, but you can also enjoy the beautiful views and wooded surroundings. The pool measures 10 x 4 m and its depth goes down from 0.20 to 1.90 m. Use of the pool is allowed from the end of April until September. For safety, the pool is covered with an automatic roller cover.

Our villa is located on the beautifully landscaped domaine "Les Demeures du Luc" which lies on the edge of a vast nature reserve. It is built on the slope of a hill and therefore has beautiful views of the meadow surroundings.

The domaine consists of 44 detached villas with large gardens full of Provencal trees, shrubs, flowering perennials and herbs. The fully fenced domaine has the character of a leafy village, which you enter through a secure main entrance.

Furthermore, the domaine has a large communal swimming pool (20 x 8.50 m) with a separate children's pool and terraces with sun beds. Near the pool is also a covered terrace where children can play table tennis. Adults can enjoy the boules court and tennis court. .

The domaine is managed by a friendly and helpful Dutch couple and at reception you can get the bread service (in July and August), barbecue rental and all your other questions. Wireless internet is also available here.

Restaurants, food & wine

Like God in France... Good food and drink guaranteed!

Wines
You are in a wonderful wine region. What do you think of fine Rhone wines such as Gigondas and Vacqueyras... But also the good Ventoux wines from the region are not to be despised and the variety of delicious cool rosé wines is really enormous! Anyway, plenty of choice, it is up to you to taste it all! By the way: upon arrival there will be a nice bottle of rosé waiting for you in the fridge!

Food
There is no shortage of restaurants. There is something for everyone: from simple to Michelin star, it can all be found in the surrounding area. Le Vivier in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Cafe Fleurs, La Prevote, are just a few of the restaurants where you can spend a pleasant culinary afternoon or evening. There are also many restaurants where you can go for a more reasonable price, but above all, you can still have a delicious meal: Restaurant La Geraldinette, Bistrot de Saumane and Le Petit Luberon are our 1st choice. In the villa and at the reception on the domaine you will find these and more information about restaurants in the area.

Markets
There is actually a market somewhere in the area every day. Every Thursday and Sunday there is a market in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Especially on Sundays this is a must to go: besides vegetables, fruit and all sorts of Provençal articles, there is also a large brocante market where you will not get bored. We also want to mention the farmer's market in Velleron (10 min. drive from our villa). Every weekday evening the market is packed with all the good that French farmers have to offer. And that for a very good price!

Activities

Explore the surrounding area? How about an antique hunt in the nearby town of l'Isle-sur-Sorgue, the Venice of France? Strolling through the picturesque village of St Remy-de-Provence? See the source of the Sorgue River in the charming village of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse? Culture and shopping in the beautiful cities of Avignon and Aix-en-Provence?

Sporty? There are plenty of options! Cycling through the rolling hills of Provence with the Mont Ventoux as the highlight? Refreshing canoeing over the Sorgue? Playing golf on the impressive 18-hole golf course with a view of les Monts de Vaucluse? You can also make lovely walks in the surrounding nature reserve directly from the domaine. Take your walking map and enjoy!

Children along? There is plenty to do! From swinging through the treetops in the adventurous tree-climbing park of Saumane-de-Vaucluse, to a children's kayak course for the youngest daredevils (children aged 3-8) near the Domaine in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse!

Or maybe you just want to do nothing at all? Then stay at the domaine with a good book on one of our terraces, take a dive in our lovely swimming pool or play an afternoon game of jeu-de-boules on the court near our villa.

We wish you a warm welcome to our villa!
