The house
Domaine La Pique - fine tiny house, freely situated on spacious private grounds at the foot of the "Vercors", 3 minutes by car from Châtillon en Diois. The terrain borders the river Bez. In the river are small pools where children and adults can relax. Beautiful large fenced swimming pool at 50m
In the picturesque medieval village of Châtillon en Diois you will find a bakery, shops, post office and several restaurants. The larger town of "Die" with its lively markets and wine tasting is 12 km away. In the surroundings vineyards, fragrant lavender and sunflower fields. Canoeing and rafting on the river Drôme. Ideal walking and cycling area.
Tinyhouse Mediterranée is a comfortable cottage on an idyllic spot. Inside, it looks fresh and cheerful with a warm and summery colour scheme. The house is very well equipped and has a kitchen with four-burner cooker, oven and microwave, fridge with freezer, Senseo and filter machine, cosy dining area, TV with all NL channels, two full bedrooms with five beds, bathroom with sink and spacious shower, separate toilet.
Domaine la Pique comprises the main house with four holiday cottages, Tinyhouse Mediterranée and a large, beautifully secluded terrain of 1.5 hectares. All five cottages are offered through Gites.nl and other portals.
Magnificent views of the Vercors. On the grounds, for common use, you will find play facilities for children, a table tennis table, 2 mountain bikes, barbecue area and a beautiful large swimming pool. An ideal place for nature lovers, active holidaymakers and those looking for peace and quiet. Also families with children and/or pets will certainly enjoy themselves here.

Mediterranée is located in the valley at the foot of the Vercors mountain range and nature park, 1 km from Châtillon en Diois. You can get fresh croissants from the local bakery in the morning. Mediterranée has a large garden/terrain (18.000 m2) with a large swimming pool, sunbathing area, seats, common BBQ-place, playground and football field. The garden is located on the Bez River with private beaches and small pools in the river. Garden and swimming pool are shared by the four gites and the mobile home.

Restaurants, food & wine
In Chatillon en Diois, 1.5 km away, you will find six restaurants offering a wide selection of regional specialities. You can go to them for a simple moules-frites meal or a pizza, but also for a sumptuous five-course dinner with wine pairing. They use many local products such as walnuts, the special goat's cheese Picodon, Ravioles du Diois, Pintadeau (guinea fowl). At all restaurants you can eat outside on the terrace. Restaurant Le Caveau stands out because of its location: eating outside on an attractively lit terrace under a centuries-old chestnut tree. Le Mairie in the centre of the village is also a lovely place for an outdoor meal. Le Mairie has a lovely terrace on the central village square next to a characteristic fountain and a large plane tree.

13 km - Die - every Wednesday and Saturday markets with local and organic products.
60 km - Nyons - every Thursday big Provencal market
Many local wines of which "Clairette de Die" a sparkling white wine is the most famous. In the immediate vicinity you can taste many wines at the various caves. Châtillon is the highest situated (500m) wine region with an AOC nomination and is known for its excellent white wines and rosés.
