Located in the heart of Burgundy/Cote D'Or on the edge of the beautiful Morvan Natural Park, the estate is surrounded by ancient oaks and rolling hills with beautiful views of Montagne de Bard.
It is a hilly area where you can still find true unspoilt nature. The landscape is characterised by mountains, hills, vast forests, blue lakes and babbling rivers. There is plenty to do and experience in this region. For example, you should definitely go hiking or cycling to discover all the special areas. Need to relax at a nice swimming lake? Then pay a visit to Lac des Settons. (37 km). Want to discover a piece of history? Visit the historic centre of Dijon or the wine town of Beaune, with its many wine cellars and shops.

Restaurants, food & wine
Every evening, we prepare a three-course menu for you based on Italian and French cuisine. We use fresh organic, local and regional products, such as meat from Charolais cows, fish from the Morvan lakes, Bresse chicken and vegetables from our own vegetable garden. Many dishes are prepared with our BBQ, smoker or wood oven. Of course, you can always opt for a vegetarian dish.
In addition to the menu, we regularly serve delicious wood-fired oven pizzas, with "spécialité du chef" being a pizza with the famous Epoisses cheese from the Côte-d'Or.
For "la petite faim", you can choose from a luxury drinks board (with various types of (local) cheese and charcuterie).
To introduce you to the wonderful wines produced in Burgundy, we have put together a nice wine list with delicious wines from the region. But beer lovers have also been thought of, as we have had two types of beer brewed especially for Le Chêne D'Or by local beer brewery Suze 5.
