Maison La Lanterne is located in the tiny peaceful village of Bassigney in the north of the Franche-Comté and on the border of the Vosges.
Recharge your body, mind and spirit surrounded by picturesque landscapes, tranquil vibes, and cozy yet stylish interiors.
Ideal for activities like cycling, hiking, canoe kayak or fishing. The sunny secluded garden gives space for BBQ or outdoor games. The river is a minute walk from the house that has a breathtaking view from the garden.
The 3 rooms are about 20m2 each, two of them looks on the garden and river and one of them to the village. There's a double bed in each room, and in two of the rooms there’s a single bed as well, so a maximum of 8 persons can sleep comfortably.
* There is only 1 toilet in the house, on the first floor!*

Maison La Lanterne is located in a tiny village (Bassigney) of 120 habitants. The environment is very relaxed and peaceful. The house is facing the street on one side, and fields and the river on the other.

The closest commercial facilities are 3 km away (supermarket, gas station, pharmacy, bakery), bigger hypermarkets and excellent restaurants are 10 minutes away from the house.
Activities
The area is perfect for hiking and cycling thanks to its rich natural sites and hilly landscapes. The river that is 1 minute from the house, gives the possibility for fishing, swimming or kayaking. If you are interested in culture, you can visit nearby towns and discover some of the interesting museums (glass factory, museum of Kirsch, archeological sites etc).
This may not be the right place for those seeking big-city life or looking for crowded/popular distractions nearby. We do have interesting activities to propose, but many of them involve at least a short drive.
