Holiday home 'Sous le Gui' is a detached house in the beautiful surroundings of the Haute Saône, at the foot of the Vosges mountains.
It consists of a living room, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and shower and 2 bedrooms. It has access to a large sunny garden. Sous le Gui' is stylishly and comfortably furnished.
Upon arrival, the beds are made and the house is cleaned.
Smoking and pets are not allowed.

Holiday home ' Sous le Gui ' (which means 'under the mistletoe') is centrally located in a small village, at 2 minutes walking distance lies the canal and a small river, in which you can fish, swim and children can play to their heart's content and build dams.
The landscape is hilly and is characterised by the alternation of forests and open plains with often wide views. Interwoven with this are the picturesque villages that still bear witness to a rich history. An authentic, rural region, with many natural water sources. The special feature of the region is its diversity. The mistletoe is very common.
It rains considerably less here than in the Netherlands. Because of the continental climate, the summers are dry and warm and the winters severe. It is warmer and drier here than in the high Vosges.

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in het huis van Paul en Sandra. Het huis ligt zeer rustig en toch met de bakker om de hoek. Huis en tuin voldoen prima aan onze wensen, al is de badkamer wel klein. De omgeving is prachtig en hebben we goed kunnen verkennen dankzij de mappen met uitgebreide informatie en wandelroutes. Het is vast veel werk geweest om deze mappen samen te stellen, maar het is een enorme meerwaarde voor de gasten!

Het weer was prima, dus we hebben veel kunnen wandelen. Waarbij de mappen die in het huis liggen goed geholpen hebben. Wat een werk moet het geweest zijn om die mappen samen te stellen.
Verder prima tuin, alleen uitkijken dat je geen appel op je hoofd krijgt in deze tijd van het jaar.
Minpuntje vonden we de douche, vooral het douchegordijn dat steeds aan je lijf plakt.
De bakker om de hoek is ook ideaal. De Casino supermarché op een half uur rijden is groot, maar ook duur. De Intermarche in Corre voldeed voor ons ook.
Heel attent van Paul en Sandra was dat we gebak kregen toen Jacqueline jarig was en niet te vergeten de fles wijn bij aankomst. Dank daarvoor !Vivienne from Voorburg,
Wat een geweldig vakantiehuis! De omschrijving klopt helemaal, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. We hebben veel in de tuin gezeten en ook leuke uitstapjes gemaakt in de omgeving. De informatiemappen zijn super!

Two minutes' walk from 'Sous le Gui' is a bakery and a restaurant. The baker also sells groceries. A few kilometres away you will find a large supermarket and several other restaurants.
About 40 km away you will find wineries, distilleries and a brewery.
Activities
The region around the holiday home 'Sous le Gui' (under the mistletoe) has many places of interest. In addition, there are swimming pools and thermal baths, riding stables, golf courses, canoe hire and adventure parks in the vicinity. There are car routes but you can also take beautiful walks.
Ideal area for hikers, cyclists and fishermen. On the Canal de l'Est is sailing with a tour boat possible. In the house there is an extensive folder with walking routes and information about the area in Dutch.
