The house
Nice flat with old elements in a medieval outbuilding of the castle of Vauvillers, France.
The flat is quietly located in the old village centre right next to the medieval market hall where there is a market or party night on Fridays in July and August.
The town has a bakery, supermarket, butcher, newsagent, boutique, sewing shop, hardware shop, post office, tobacconist, bank, restaurant and petrol pump.
In short, everything close by!
The Gite is located on the ground floor and has a (small) lounge, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom (which are lovely and cool in summer) and is suitable for 2 people.
In the Gite you will still find old elements and there is a lovely atmosphere.
There is no garden or terrace but in front of the door there is a bistro set where you can enjoy sitting with a view of the market hall and the old houses.
There is parking space in front of the door.

Vauvillers is only 4 km from SELLES where the river Coney and the Canal de l'Est flow.
A beautiful place for sunbathing, swimming, picnics and fishing.
The River Saône is also easily accessible, where you can go boating, swimming and fishing.
Besides fishing in the rivers and canal, there is also a carp pond and trout farm nearby.
To fish, however, you need to get a licence.
You can also take a boat trip on the Canal de l'Est.
The beautiful, wooded surroundings are ideal for walkers and cyclists.
A folder with routes is available in the house.
There are many attractions nearby such as swimming pools, thermal baths, riding schools, golf courses, adventure park, art glass blowing, candy factory, abbey and monastery, prehistoric museum, cheese factory, wine producers and the Route des mille Etangs( a 60km route along several lakes).
