The house
Our farm is located in the small hamlet of Ettevaux in the south of the Morvan. The gite is located on the upper floor of our farm. The gite
has its own entrance and beautiful views. It is a large, high living space with original oak beams and stone walls. The gite can be rented by the day or for longer periods. In consultation, breakfast can be served and beds can be made. Dinner is also possible!
One pet (maximum 1) is allowed.
Layout
The cottage is approximately 50m2. The gite has a sitting area with wood-burning stove and an open kitchen. In the kitchen there is a 2-burner induction stove, fridge, oven, filter coffee maker and kettle.
There is a loft with a double bed accessible via a loft ladder.
Upon request, a double bed (160x200) can also be placed downstairs.
The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet.
We do not charge cleaning costs if the gite is left as you found it.

Our domaine is located in the hamlet of Ettevaux overlooking a small castle. It is very quiet with hardly any passing traffic. The gite is part of the farm. We have a large vegetable garden, orchard and many animals. You can take endless walks and are free to use the sitting areas on the domaine.

Restaurants, food & wine
Several restaurants can be found within 10-15 minutes, the wine regions are about 45-60 minutes away, e.g. at Beaune or the Chablis and Sancerre in the north of the Morvan.
Activities
Ettevaux is located in the south of the Morvan. The gite is on the domaine where we ourselves also live with many animals (dogs, cats, chickens and ponies). The gite does not have its own garden but our domaine of 17ha (of which about 1/3rd forest) is freely accessible with many lovely seats, orchard and a large vegetable garden!
A stream runs across our land, making the environment very diverse. Deer, badgers, foxes and all sorts of other animals can be found everywhere here. From our yard you do not have to go on the road to take endless walks.
It is very quiet with no busy roads nearby. The winters here are lovely too. Regular snow or frost and if the sun shines, you are soon outside in winter too! Although it is also lovely in the evening by the woodstove with a glass of wine!

Additional price info and offers
If you wish to book bed linen, towels are also included and we will make the bed for you.
For a pet (maximum 1) we charge € 4,- per night extra. Breakfast is optional at € 10 per person per night.
We do not charge a cleaning fee if you leave the house as you found it. If this is not the case, we will retain part of the deposit.
In the winter months (October to March) we charge €8 per night extra for electricity and firewood.
