The house
In 2020, we, Dave, Eveline, our daughter Jade and our pets, took up residence in the enchanting Morvan region, in the picturesque hamlet of Les Roux. Les Roux is a charming part of the municipality of Anost. Our accommodation, once an old forge, exudes an authentic French atmosphere. The holiday home is separate from our main house and is surrounded by an enclosed garden with fruit trees, and a sunny south-facing terrace. The extensive 7000m2 grounds are also home to our horses, chickens, cats and rabbits.
The total area of the holiday home is about 95m2. On the ground floor is a spacious living room with an open kitchen of about 45m2. The bathroom and toilet are also located on the ground floor. The three bedrooms are on the upper floor. The living room has a wood-burning stove, a CD player, a DVD player, and a television, while several board games are available. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a 5-burner gas cooker, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, and various kitchen utensils. Hot water is provided by a 200L boiler. Due to the use of a septic tank, depositing toilet paper and similar materials in the toilet is not allowed; we kindly ask for waste separation.
Discover the enchanting winter charm of our gite in the Morvan! Although our accommodation is available all year round, we would like to inform our guests that a cosy wood-burning stove is only available on the ground floor of the gite during the winter months. Please note that the house can feel cold during the winter. Nevertheless, the cosy wood-burning stove offers a warm and cosy refuge, perfect for enjoying the serene winter atmosphere of the Morvan. We welcome you for an unforgettable stay surrounded by the region's beautiful winter landscapes.

Wat een gastvrij gezin/verblijf!
Gedateerd huisje, maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Bedden slapen goed, banken met uitklapbare voetensteun, zitten heel relaxed. De afgesloten tuin biedt privacy. Heerlijk om 'sochtends je koffie te drinken, perfect uitzicht op de bossen. Heb je iets nodig, kun je met al je vragen bij de super vriendelijke gastvrouw/heer terecht. Mooi gebied om o.a. heerlijk te wandelen.
