The house in the hamlet of Nogent (municipality of La Chapelle sous Brancion) consists of former stables and a living area with ample space for two people, possibly with a baby. The living area is slightly elevated and offers views of the beautifully laid-out grounds. A large natural stone staircase leads up to the terrace which connects to the cosy French kitchen diner which is fully equipped (4-burner cooker with oven, fridge, microwave and an extensive kitchen inventory). The house has excellent central heating and therefore also guarantees a pleasant stay in low season and there is a washing machine.

The house has a modern living room with sofa, easy chairs, TV, sound system and DVD player, a bedroom with a quality bed (1.80 wide) and a luxurious bathroom.

Its south-facing location means the terrace and house are sunny all day. Thick stone walls keep the house cool, but you can also seek refreshment in the large garden in the shade of silk trees, fruit trees and acers, which surround a large pond. Comfortable garden furniture is provided for dining al fresco, a small seating area for aperitifs or for sheltered sunbathing. In the former part of the farm you will find two good bikes, a barbecue and a place to park your car in the coolness.
Attached to the house is a small swimming pool measuring 6.00m x 3.50m, equipped with massage jets. Not a bath for swimming laps, but an ideal place to cool down during the hot summer days or to drink a glass of wine on the adjoining terrace with loungers.

Because the house is detached and surrounded by high hedges, you have a lot of privacy. You have the entire property to yourself.

The farmhouse is located at the edge of a commune (historical monument) with a small number of inhabitants, near the Col des Chêvres (the "goat pass"), at about 500m altitude. 3km away, in the village of Étrigny, you will find a good bakery with a simple range of groceries.In the larger towns in the area (Tournus, Sennecy-le-Grand and St. Gengoux le National), all amenities are available, including a large organic supermarket.
Pets are not allowed.

Although you will feel like you are in another era at this location due to the abundance of authentic elements, you will find all modern comforts in the house and the whole place is perfectly maintained. Upon arrival, you will find a made bed, clean towels hanging in the bathroom and, of course, a good bottle of wine waiting for you .

Route to the house:
From Tournus, follow the D215 to St Gengoux le National. In Nogent, turn right at the fountain, after 100 metres you will find the house on the right (light blue entrance gate)
