The house
Detached Gite "Punelle" is located at Domaine Le Beau Lavault, just outside Thil sur Arroux in the Morvan.
Gite "Prunelle" is completely renovated and tastefully decorated in shabby-chic brocante style with comfortable furniture, a flat screen hd tv and a dvd-player.
The modern kitchen offers all the luxury including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave. There is also a Senseo coffee machine and a water boiler.
The bedroom has comfortable beds which are of course made up when you arrive.
Prunelle has a nice private terrace with various garden furniture, so you can enjoy the peace and nature. Of course there is also a BBQ ready for you.
WiFi is freely accessible.
In the mature garden surrounding the gite, trees and shrubs provide sufficient shade and privacy.
There are also plenty of open spaces with grass where you can play a game of football, badminton or petanque.
Prunelle is suitable for 2 persons.
A cot can be added.
Gite Prunelle (2p) can be rented separately or in combination with Gite Mirabelle (4p) in all seasons.
The managers speak French, Dutch, German and English.

Domaine Le Beau Lavault" is located in the south of Burgundy on a site of approx. 3,000 m2.
The domain is situated just outside Thil sur Arroux on the edge of the southern Morvan with a view on the Vallee d'Arroux. Not remote, but in a rural and quiet environment far from crowds and noise. Occasionally a farmer passes by on a 'tractor' and otherwise only the sound of nature.
Several lakes and the river Arroux are at a stone's throw away.
"Beau" means beautiful and "Lavault" is old French, derived from Latin, for valley.
The domain lives up to its name when you make excursions in the area. This beautiful region is known for its lovely rolling 'bocage' landscape, its white Charolais cows and picturesque villages with Romanesque churches.
An ideal place for people who seek nature, peace and quiet, but who also love French authenticity, style and comfort. In addition, Burgundy is a rich and delicious region, which has a lot to offer in the cultural, historical and culinary fields.

Prima huisje op een locatie met prachtig uitzicht. Voor boodschappen moet je echt even rijden. Ik zou voor de volgende bezoekers dat ook in het huisje aangeven. Waar zijn de dichtstbijzijnde winkels en misschien een routebeschrijving waar het vuil weg te gooien. Heerlijke dagen gehad.

Een klein, maar knus huis op een prachtige plek. Mooi zwemmeer in de buurt. Fijne tuin om het huis met zon en schaduw. We hebben genoten van de stilte. Een prima plek om vakantie te vieren!!

Wij hebben 2 heerlijke weken gehad in dit gezellige huisje met zijn riante,vrije tuin. Enorm genoten van de prachtige omgeving. Steden zoals Autun en Baune zijn de moeite van het bezoeken waard.

Restaurants, food & wine
In the towns in the immediate vicinity, there is an authentic French market to visit every day. A must is the big market on Friday mornings in Autun. Many merchants have their stall in the centre of the town. But do not forget to visit the fresh market, with many regional specialities. It is located under the town hall.
Burgundy's reputation for gastronomy and wine is renowned worldwide. Therefore, there are numerous restaurants where you will be pampered with regional specialities such as Charolais meat, escsrgots, delicious cold meats and beautiful mature cheeses.
Your stay is not far from the famous vineyards of Burgundy. You can follow a number of wine routes that take you past picturesque wine villages among the vineyards. Renowned wine domains such as Chateau Meursault, Chateau Pommard and Clos de Vougeot can be visited.
Le Marche aux Vins in Beaune is a must for a tasting of Burgundy wines.
Activities
The surroundings are perfect for cycling, hiking, mountain biking and horse riding.
With a canoe, you can paddle over the nearby river Arroux, which is also suitable for swimming.
In the immediate vicinity are several lakes and ponds where you can go fishing.
Visit the authentic French villages in the area such as Etang sur Arroux, Luzy and Toulon sur Arroux.
Fun markets and flea markets are never far away and are frequently organised.
About 20 km away is the historically and culturally interesting city of Autun with many Roman and medieval sights.
For golf lovers, there is a challenging 12-hole golf course in Autun.
You can taste the famous wines of Burgundy in, for example, Meursault or Beaune.
Or go to Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, for a day of shopping.
