The house
The Templiere house is located at the entrance to the small park of the Closerie de Gigny.
was completely restored in early 2020; built in the XV/XVI century, it combines modern comfort and history, with elements dating from the Middle Ages such as the cushioned windows, the majestic fireplace and the remains of a mullioned window that have been preserved and enhanced. La Templiere has access to the swimming pool and Jacuzzi area.
Up to 8 people can stay in the 4 bedrooms, with the option of adding a cot in one of them.
Ground floor: Entrance, large living room with fireplace, kitchen and dining area.
1st Floor: 2 bedrooms with 160 cm beds and 1 bedroom with 140 cm bed, 1 bathroom and toilet.
2nd Floor: 1 large bedroom with 160 cm bed and view of the Tors bell tower, shower room and toilet.

Chablis is a beautiful medieval town, surrounded by some of the region's most famous vineyards - wineries, boutiques and specialist shops attract visitors all year round - tastings are available in the town as well as in the surrounding cellars. Chablisien is a special vineyard because it produces only dry white wines. Chablis is also the starting point for the Route du Chablisien: Petit-Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru and Chablis Grand Cru. For its size, Chablis is one of the vineyards with the fewest appellations contrôlée.

20 minutes from Gigny, visit the cellars of Les Riceys, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This is the largest Champagne terroir, with 866 hectares under appellation, and the only Champagne village in France to have three A.O.C. wines within its boundaries (Champagne, Coteaux Champenois and Les Riceys rosé). Visit the vineyards, cadole tour. Cycle hire available (free baby seat, helmets and locks provided).
