The holiday cottage is located in the countryside, in the heart of Brittany. The cottage is located on a quiet country road, no neighbours or other holidaymakers, complete peace and privacy. The beautiful detached house has 3 spacious bedrooms for up to 6 people (and 1 baby), a spacious living room with open kitchen overlooking the terrace and garden.
Large new bathroom with spacious walk-in shower and sink. (Completely renewed, in early 2020!!).
The (bedroom) room on the ground floor is multifunctional. Namely, it can be used as a bedroom (for 1 or 2 persons) or as a playroom.
If this room is used as a bedroom, the room next to the stairs can be used as a playroom. After all, there is enough space there for the children to play with the toys.
This downstairs bedroom can also serve very well for guests who prefer everything on the ground floor and prefer not to use the stairs.
It is a characteristic Breton house tastefully decorated and equipped with modern conveniences (such as dishwasher, oven, microwave, TV, DVD player, etc.)

The cottage is located in a very quiet rural setting, complete peace and privacy, WITHOUT CLOSE neighbours or other holidaymakers, in the heart of Brittany.
Within 5-10 minutes of local shops, supermarkets (+Drive), weekly market, restaurants, office de tourisme (tourist office) and swimming pool.
Close to a beautiful lake, Lac de Guerlédan.
The lake, Lac de Guerlédan, is the largest lake in Brittany. There is plenty to do and see around and in the lake: sandy beaches, swimming, canoeing, water-skiing, tour boats and other water sports activities, restaurants, playground etc etc etc
Within an hour by car of the coast. Beautiful beaches, pink granite coast definitely worth a visit.
In the cottage, apart from books and magazines, there are also brochures and info on what to do in the area. Walking and cycling routes, info on markets, info on flea markets/ vide grenier, amusement parks, swimming pools, castles, gardens, boat trips, etc etc etc
The house is also a good starting point to make beautiful walks or cycling trips. Nearby beautiful hiking and cycling trails. Indoor pool, mini golf and bikes for rent in nearby village.
Within 20-30 min of an indoor playground, about 20 min of a 30-hectare park, with woods and fields, pond several playgrounds (free entrance).
Also due to the central location of this house in Brittany, ideal base to explore Brittany.

We hadden een heerlijk rustige week in de gite. Dagelijks bezoek van een haasje, broedende vogels onder de dakgoot, wandelend de omgeving verkennen.
Miranda staat steeds klaar met raad en daad. Heel fijn.

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in dit huisje. Ondanks de tegenslag op de heenreis en daardoor late aankomst werden we zeer hartelijk ontvangen door Miranda en voelden we ons al snel thuis. Wat een ruimte en rust! Onze kinderen hebben zich heerlijk vermaakt op de trampoline en de speeltoestellen. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. Grote supermarkten en bakkers op 10 minuten rijden. Door de centrale ligging ben je in 1 uur rijden bij zowel de noord- als de zuidkust. Een aanrader is Vallee des Saints, een prachtig park met beelden van heiligen. En vergeet niet om de huisgemaakte yoghurt te kopen.

Wij hebben een ontzettend fijn verblijf gehad hier. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. De omgeving super rustig en toch niet te ver van de bewoonde wereld met leuke bezienswaardigheden. Ook Miranda (de verhuurster) was een hele vriendelijke en attente vrouw. Kortom, onze batterijen zijn weer volledig opgeladen en komen hier zeker nog eens terug!

The Dutch owners live 600m from the holiday home and are your "nearest" neighbours and have a farm with dairy cows.

Prices include water, gas, electricity* and bed linen.
*In the low season (October to April), the rental price does not include electricity.
In the period when electricity is included in the price, the period May to September, 150 KW per week of electricity is included in the weekly price. Normally in summer this is more than enough for average household consumption. If more is consumed, it should be paid in cash on the day of departure.
Internet and bath towels can be booked separately (paying option).
