The house
Les Riverons is a 250-year-old house with all modern comforts. At the back of the house is a large veranda where you can enjoy the evenings and the peace and quiet. The beautiful landscaped garden is completely fenced so dogs can roam around freely. There is a large front and back garden with plenty of garden furniture. There are also trees to provide shade. The back garden has a large petanque court (jeu de boules)
Ground floor: cosily furnished living room with fire place, sofa and arm chairs. Inviting kitchen-dining area with big dining table and chairs. The cupboards are filled with all sorts of kitchen utensils and appliances so you will find everything you need. Bedroom. WC. Separate bathroom with shower, wash basin and washing machine.
First floor: second WC, two very spacious bedrooms with wash basins.
Garage: two bicycles, sun chairs, extra fridge and freezer, table tennis table.

Les Riverons is located at the end of a quiet hamlet. The road ends in the river, 50 metres further down. The house is situated in a valley. Here you can really unwind in peace and quiet and enjoy the beautiful starry skies for that true holiday feeling.
The area has many, often medieval towns and is very rural. There are forests, rivers and lakes in the area. Regional park De Brenne is a paradise for birds and bird watchers. Lac d' Eguzon offers a lot of possibilities for water sports. There is a large petanque court in the garden.

Ruime woning met prachtige tuin in een heerlijk, rustige omgeving. Ideaal voor natuurwandelingen en verkennen van authentieke, Franse dorpjes en kastelen waar het toerisme nog niet is doorgedrongen. Wij hebben hier een fijne vakantie doorgebracht!
Restaurants, food & wine
Every Sunday there is a brocante market somewhere in the area.
Every Saturday there is a market in Le Blanc where locals sell their produce. You will always find something to taste here....
Several activities takes place in the area during summer.
Every 29th of the month there is a huge market in Les Herolles. All sorts of typical French products are sold her. There is even a livestock market.
Activities
The garden has a petanque court. The house is a good starting point for several walks. Bicycle lovers can challenge themselves with the hilly landscape or the flat landscape of De Brenne.
There are many old towns in the area. You will find several maps with different themes in the house. For instance castles, dolmes (ancient stones), lakes and rivers, landscapes, towers and donjons.
Lac d'Eguzon offers almost everything for water sports. Plus you can also rent canoes, Le Blanc is one of the starting points. Parachuting is also possible in Le Blanc and renting bicycles. There is a golf course in Belabre.

Further remarks
The area has many old towns worth visiting: Saint Benoit du Sault, Angles sur Anglin, Montmorillon is a unique city for book lovers. At Monts Blond there is a route which takes you along many dolmen and menhirs. And there are lots of castles in the area.
