The house
The gîte is a spacious and bright flat with 1 bedroom with a double bed for 2 people. It is on the first floor, accessible via a small staircase at the back of the house. It has a terrace with parasol, table and chairs and views of the sheep field. A private garden with parasol, benches, armchairs and barbecue is available at the bottom of the stairs. The flat has a large living room with kitchen and dining area overlooking the garden on both sides, a mezzanine and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a bedroom with a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, gas oven, microwave, toaster, fridge, coffee and tea maker and all necessary kitchen utensils. There is a high chair and a cot. The cottage is available from September to the end of June, is well insulated and has infrared heating and a heat pump/air conditioning system.

The gite is located in the middle of Parc Naturel Regional Normandie-Maine. The park offers a range of very varied riches. You will find rare animal species here, such as the pearl mussel or the white-legged shrimp, as well as remarkable landscapes such as the heather moors, moors and limestone hills. This park dates from 1975, extends over two regions (Lower Normandy and the Pays de Loire), covers 235,000 hectares and includes 150 communes in the departments of Orne, Manche, Mayenne and Sarthe. The park can be divided into a haut pay's (highland) with ridges and wooded slopes in the Alpes Mancelles and a bas pay's (lowland), which is characterised by its coulisse landscape, the rolling hills of the Saosnois and the open fields around Sées and Alencon. Activities
Throughout the year, there are many activities such as markets, horse races, festivals etc. You can enjoy walks in the vast forests here (Ecouves and Andaines) or visit historic towns (e.g. Saint Ceneri Le Gerei, Lassay les Chateaux, Domfront etc.). Alencon is the closest town (20 minutes' drive) with a nice centre, and delicious restaurants. If you like swimming, you can go to the lake in La Ferte Mace, and there is much more to see and do.
