The house
A rustic and very beautiful detached holiday home for 8 to 10 persons with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, seating area, dining rooms....Satelite TV and a double fold-out bed on the 'voûte' ( under the arches) . Cosy, fully equipped kitchen with american fridge/freezer, oven, micro wave oven, satellite TV, washing machine, hair dryer.
Exterior: 40 metre drive, carport for 2 cars, terrace of 400m2 in spacious garden of 3,800m2 ( with several seating areas) with heated pool ( safe for children) measuring 6 x 12 metres with modern sun chairs, petanque court, barbecue.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in mei 2022 met 2 gezinnen, kinderen in leeftijd 13 - 17. Mooi ruim huis met fijne indeling, prachtig uitzicht vanaf de verschillende zithoeken op het terras. Zwembad erg fijn en omgeving schitterend. Binnen een half uur rijden is er veel te zien en te doen. Absolute aanrader en niet duur. Wij zouden zo weer terug willen! Dank aan Yvan en Lucien.

Vijf opeenvolgende zomers waren wij tot nog toe te gast in Le puits de Juillac. Telkens opnieuw waren we in de ban van de rust, de natuur, de historische sites en de kwaliteiten van de woning. Nooit kregen wij genoeg van onze vakanties bij het zwembad, de barbecue, de wandelingen met vrienden in een schilderachtige natuur en het mooie weer. Quality time ! Waarschuwing : afkickverschijnelen mogelijk.
Restaurants, food & wine
The Dordogne /Périgord region is known as "”la cuisine de la france” France's kitchen. Foie gras, nuts/nut oil, truffles, duck dishes, cêpes, morilles are some of the products the area is know for. Restaurants offer all this at very reasonable prices.
Activities
Le Puits de Juillac is located 20 kms from Sarlat, 10 kms from Domme, 60 kms from Bergerac and 50 kms form Cahors.
This rural historic area is well suited for walking, cultural and historical trips and has many castles, rivers and green hills, caves and subterranean lakes.
Canoeing on the Dordogne river and horse riding are highly recommended.
Within a radius of 15 kms are 6 of the most beautiful villages/towns of France! And within a radius of 20 kms you will also find the 4 most beautiful golfcourses. Airport for amateur pilots at 9 kms.
