The house
A favourite with guests, this spacious (approx. 140m2) and atmospheric gite has recently been completely renovated. It has 3 large bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 4 adults and 4 children.
You enter the living room through the large entrance door to your private courtyard garden. The high beamed ceiling and preserved original details give this holiday home a special atmosphere. The cosy living room has a comfortable sofa and chairs. On the left side is a passage to the spacious kitchen with dining area.
Next to the fully equipped kitchen is a central hall with access to the toilet and a large bathroom with bathtub, separate walk-in shower and washbasin.
Upstairs is a large bedroom with a double bed. The second bedroom has a king-size bed (twin) and the children's bedroom has 2 bunk beds. All bedrooms have a wardrobe.
The courtyard is very private and has a large table, BBQ, outdoor bench and chairs around the fire pit, where you can sit until the small hours. Stairs lead to the other part of the garden, where there are sun loungers for relaxing and an extra table. It also gives access to the adjacent large communal garden, where the swimming pool and all the children's play equipment are located.

Located in the Perigord Vert, the green heart of the Dordogne.
Close to La Coquille and Thiviers and less than an hour from Brantome and Perigueux, we are ideally located for exploring all that the Dordogne has to offer. Limoge airport is just 40 minutes north on Richard Lionheart's trail.
Here you can enjoy a wonderful holiday as a couple or as a family. In a beautiful rural setting, you will find your holiday home with its own enclosed garden for plenty of privacy or you can play or relax in our extensive garden. All our holiday homes are equipped with everything you need and have been recently renovated and furnished.
The large grounds of 5 hectares (26,000 m2) are a paradise for children. A large lawn, playground equipment, trampoline, secure swimming pool, playhouse and much more. There are always plenty of playmates. With several holiday homes on the site, you have the opportunity to "socialise" but you can also retreat to your own place for some peace and quiet.
Nearby in St Pierre De Frugie is an organic shop for groceries and a great little restaurant/bar. There is even a free village garden where you can pick fresh herbs, vegetables and fruit. La Coquille is a larger town 6 km away with banks, electric car charging points, supermarkets, garage, bakery and butchers.

Activities
For the children there are swings, slide, a large inground trampoline, playhouse, seat tractors, table tennis table, badminton net, golf sets and for the little ones we have sandboxes and special mini swings. There are also deck chairs, picnic tables and seating areas in the general garden by the pool to relax and/or have a chat.
The 2.5-hectare site is in a secluded, rural location with plenty of space for children to "go on adventures", but with peace of mind for parents with little ones, with each Gite having its own fenced enclosure and gate .
Every cottage in the Dordogne should have a pool and we are thrilled with our new 11 x 5 metre pool with a depth of 1.2 to 1.8 metres. The pool is fenced and only accessible through a safety gate, so younger children cannot enter unsupervised. For the little ones, we also have children's pools.
There are plenty of activities in the area from Circuses, Marche Gourmands (Food Extravaganzas), Outdoor Movies, Concerts, Fireworks, Markets and more. We will post these on our Facebook page as we see them and would encourage our guests to do the same.
