De Kwartel - La Caille

The Quail is detached and set on a hill with sweeping views over a valley on one side and the Pyrenees on the other. Spectacular sunsets and, on a clear day, incredible starry skies. The spacious garden is all around and offers plenty of sunshine and privacy. The swimming pool (unheated) is at your disposal. Peace, space and nature. In the countryside in a small hamlet. Sustainable, eco, organic (dynamic). Comfortable and fully equipped. Inside you will find a spacious living room with open kitchen and a large long dining table, 3 bedrooms, 1 separate toilet, 1 bathroom with shower and washbasin. Outside on one side a full-length balcony with wide views over the valley. At the entrance to the house, on the other side is a spacious terrace. You are not renting a room with your booking. You rent the entire house. As a result, the price per night is higher than at a hotel or B&B. At De Kwartel/La Caille, the environment is treated sustainably and responsibly. This means that only organic and ecological products are used in and around the house. Guests are asked to respect this.
A caretaker lives in the lower house, who will look after you when you come to stay and you can contact her with all your questions.
There are cats and a dog (inside the fence) on the property in addition to free-roaming chickens. You have the opportunity to obtain fresh organic eggs, herbs, fruits and vegetables from our own completely organic vegetable garden, depending on the season.
The neighbourhood consists of only a few houses, none of which have a direct view. There are no shops, but there is a bakery nearby. Groceries can be bought in the surrounding villages, which are on average 20 minutes away. The nearest town is Saint-Gaudens. The region offers plenty of opportunities for entertainment, hiking and enjoying nature. The Pyrenees are 1 hour away. But you can also just do nothing at all and enjoy this special place.
