The house
You find our holiday home on the west coast of France in Vendée.
If you are looking for peace and quiet in your holiday then this cottage is ideal for you.
This former bakery of La Forêt, located on a spacious private garden of 400 m2 and next to the forrest, and has been renovated by us into a comfortable holiday home suitable for up to five people.
The cottage has all modern comforts.
The spacious upper floor has 5 sleeping places. One double bed with a large four-door linnen cupboard which also serves as room divider. And a 3 person bunkbed: double below and top- single bed.
Downstairs is the bathroom, a spacious kitchen with 4 burner gas stove with oven, big fridge with freezer, and a microwave. Next to the kitchen area is a big dining corner. The cosy seating area makes it all complete. Television and Wifi.
BBQ on your private terrace and possibility to use the owner's swimming pool (above ground)
From the terrace you walk straight into your own garden with direct acces to the forrest for pleasant walks.

Everything you might need for your holiday you will find with us in Vendée.
There is peace and quiet and a forrest. The beach is 45 minutes driving. Fancy visiting pretty towns? How about La Rochelle, known for its Fort Boyard , which is 45 minutes away. Les Sable D'Olonne, the second largest sea side resort of France is less than an hour away.
Puy Du Fou, the largest historical theme park in the world is half an hour's drive and not to be missed.

Een leuk huis met een complete keuken, goed ingericht. We schrokken even van de wenteltrap om de slaapkamer op de eerste etage te bereiken. We werden zeer gastvrij ontvangen. Nico en Marie-Louise zijn aardige mensen en wij hebben genoten van hun accommodatie en de tuin.

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie hier gehad., Prettig huisje van alle gemakken voorzien. Vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaren die een prachtig geheel hebben gemaakt van hun terrein.
Voor onze hond Zinzy een grote geheel omheinde tuin met een uitgang direct naar het bos waar je uren kan wandelen. Echt een aanrader voor de genieter van stilte en rust. Heerlijk uitgerust weer naar huis.Liesbeth Bouman from Ede,
Een heerlijk rustig verblijf. Leuk huisje. Mooie tuin en veel ruimte buiten met de mogelijkheid om gebruik te maken van het zwembad. Dat was met 40 graden ook wel erg lekker. Veel vogels in de tuin. De hop kwam s' avonds ook even langs.....Onze hond vond het ook heerlijk. Zomaar achter de tuin uit en het bos in, Prima gastvrouw en man. We hebben een heerlijke week gehad.
