Wonderfully quiet holiday home in the Vendée! Get to know this former old barn from the 16th century which has been transformed in 2004 with taste and love into a magnificent house with a fenced private swimming pool. After a refreshing dive, you can relax in the sun on the terrace. Surrounded by fields and woods, less than a kilometre from the village of St. Laurent-de-la-Salle and 45 minutes' drive to the beach. For the children there is a large playground with swing and slide. The interior of the house is definitely special; tasteful, comfortable and with a touch of romance.

Heerlijk rustige plek op het platteland van de Vendee. Heel mooi huis met smaak gerenoveerd en ingericht. Mooi verzorgde tuin met meer dan voldoende zit- en ligmogelijkheden. Zwembad ook prima, wel wat koud want niet verwarmd. Verder alles prima in orde en schoon, aanrader!

In less than half an hour drive you reach interesting places, such as the medieval Fontenay-le-Comte (castle and museum) and Vouvant (both 15 km), and the impressive ruins of Abbaye St. Pierre in Maillezais (34 km). Or take a boat trip through Le Marais Poitevin (25 km, marshes). Spoil the children with a visit to the amusement park Pierre Brune near Mervent (17 km)!
Unforgettable is the historical theme park Puy-du-Fou (45 km) where Vikings, Roman charioteers and other extras make history come alive. Wide sandy beaches can be found at La Faute-sur-Mer (50 km).
