The house
The Cabanon, a 15-minute walk from the village square in Reillanne, is a holiday home for 4 people situated on a plot of 2500 m² with a private swimming pool in front of the door.
Waking up in the Cabanon is waking up "in a postcard": from a good bed of 160 x 200 with a spring mattress, you have a beautiful view of the Luberon.
The second bedroom has two fine beds of 90 x 190.
The living room is not large but cosily furnished with a two-seater sofa and two comfortable chairs. There is also a television with Dutch and Belgian channels and WIFI is available.
The well-equipped kitchen, with a four-burner stove, a microwave, an oven, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, a kettle and a coffee machine and Senseo, is adjacent to the terrace.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
A washer/dryer and iron/ironing board are also present.
In summer you live mainly outside, so also outside is a worktable with a four-burner stove (with oven) and a plancha.
The swimming pool with a diameter of 5.50 metres borders on the gravel terrace, is heated and has a counter-swimming facility so that sports enthusiasts can also get their money's worth. On the pool terrace there are 2 sun loungers for sunbathing/reading and 2 relax chairs.
In the garden there is comfortable furniture: a large table with 6 chairs, two stretchers and 4 relax chairs.
Because the house has electric underfloor heating and also a cosy wood stove, the Cabanon is also a wonderful place in early spring, late autumn and even in winter.
The Cabanon is about 60m² and has two bedrooms upstairs and the bathroom downstairs.
The bathroom is only accessible from the kitchen.
We think the Cabanon is not really suitable for 4 adults.
We advise you, in case of a holiday with four adults, to choose one of our Gîtes. In addition to a comfortable living room with kitchen and roof terrace, there is a separate sitting/bedroom for two people with private bathroom available.

The village of Reillanne, about a 15-minute walk from "Le Cabanon", is in Provence on the border of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, the Vaucluse and the Var. The village was founded in the twelfth century and has a population of about 1500. The social life of Reillanne takes place on and around the village square (approx. 150 metres from our notary's house, La Maison de Maître). The village has its own baker, butcher and supermarket and a number of attractive cafes and eateries, but also a post office and a tabac. Reillanne is located in the 'Parc Naturel du Luberon', a national park known for its tranquillity and natural beauty. For hikers and cyclists, there are extensive possibilities for beautiful walks or bike rides. The Montagne de Lure, also a beautiful walking area, is half an hour's drive away.

Restaurants, food & wine
In Reillanne, around the village square, there are two cosy, atmospheric cafes. At "Café de la Place", for example, you can take a lunch menu for about € 15.00 excluding wine and dessert. In the afternoon, it is a lovely place to have a drink in the late sun. "Café du Cours" is a cosy place with a view on the square to have a drink. From the end of June there is a simple "plat du jour" or meal salad at noon.
12 Years ago Maarten and Jessica started the restaurant "La Pastorale". Now they can call themselves one of the better restaurants of the area, highly recommended! "Auberge Carluc" in Céreste has a delicious kitchen and a great atmosphere. Sit inside in the beautiful cave voûté. Restaurant "Manne Celeste" in the village Mane is a cosy little restaurant in the middle of the village. Try the delicious small pizzas. Agathe and Paul are the hosts of Auberge "Des Coupoles" in St. Michel l'Observatoire. You sit there very cosily at the village square. Paul is an excellent cook. A three-course meal at noon costs about € 17. In the evening, there is a choice of several menus from about € 19. In Montfuron, you will find "Chez Eric", a delicious Provençal cuisine with a great atmosphere.
Activities
From "Le Cabanon" you can follow various walking or cycling routes. There is a tennis court in the village and a riding school in St Michel l'Observatoire. In Pièrrevert (15 km) you can play golf at the Country Club. For water sports you can go to the lac d'Esparon (42 km) or to St. Croix (59 km). Painting courses are held in the gallery once a week. Apt, Forcalquier and Manosque, known for their beautiful Provençal markets are at a distance of 15 to 20 km. In Isle sur le Sorgue, at an hour's drive, are the famous antique and curios markets. The ocher mines of Roussillon or the famous Gorges du Verdon are in the vicinity. But also cultural-historical places like Aix-en-Provence, Arles and Avignon are within an hour's drive. For sun lovers, there are the lakes of the Verdon, the Lac de St. Croix, the beach at Martigues or the plan d'eau at Manosque.
