The house

Set on the edge of a forrest, a 10 min walk from the historic village of Reillanne, Villa Amande is a private and secluded 2 bedroomed villa. The Villa has a fully equipped kitchen, with all you need for a self catering holiday. There is a spacious, open plan, living room that leads directly out to the terrace where you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Luberon. The terrace has a dinning table and chairsThe master bedroom is spacious and is equipped with a double bed and a fitted wardrobe. The second bedroom has two twin beds, that can be pulled together to make a double if required, and a fitted wardrobe. Beside the heated pool, there is a small, shaded, summer kitchen, complete with a gas fired BBQ and a sink. There are separate shower and toilet rooms. Bed sheets and towels are supplied.Finally, in the garage you will find a washing machine for your clothes.

The Villa Is located in Reillanne on the eastern side of the Luberon. Although it is a 10min walk from the village it is completely tranquil and secluded. Farming activity takes place in the valley below an will not disturb you.. From Villa Amande you have easy access to all the attractions and activities that Provence has to offer. The lavender fields of valensole are just 45min away, however it is much better to stay local and see the fields of the small local producers. Historic Roman sites such as Glanum are an hour by car. Similarly cities like Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Digne are all just a little more than an hour away.

    Vakantiehuis in de absolute stilte gelegen,met een vanop het terras mooie view. Mooi, rustig gelegen zwembad dat door de vriendelijke eigenaar George zo goed mogelijk wordt onderhouden. Door de hoge spar naast het zwembad valt nogal wat vuil in het water. Het huis zelf is wat gedateerd en er waren wat kleine dingetjes kapot, oa de vriezer, een deur die niet meer sluit, geen dampkap in keuken en vloertegels die los liggen, électriciteit kabels los enz.. Zou dus een opfrisbeurt kunnen gebruiken,maar gezien je vooral buiten leeft is dit alles dus niet echt storend. Al bij al dus een leuke vakantie beleefd.

    Heerlijke week gehad, alles was super. Mooi huis met een prachtig uitzicht en heel veel privacy. Het zwembad was een groot genot om af te koelen want dat was wel nodig! Het dorpje Reillanne, op 5 minuutjes lopen vanaf het huis is een heel gezellig dorp met veel voorzieningen.
    Wij hebben genoten en komen zeker terug !!

    Heerlijke plek met een geweldig uitzicht! Mooie plaatsen zoals Roussilion (45 min) Apt (30 min.) Of Manosque (20 min) of Colorado Provencal (40 min) in de omgeving. Huis zeer schoon.

We are blessed to have one of the best restaurants in the Luberon 10 mins, La Pastorale, from Villa Amande.Run by a dutch couple this restaurant never disappoints, and the prices will keep you smiling. There are two café bars in the village itself, serving bistro style food. The Cave in Reillanne, run by Anne, has a wide range of wines on offer. We have a partnership with Auretto which produces some of the best local red wines. We can provide you with a voucher for instant discounts on their produce.

Activities

Directly accessible from Villa Amande are miles of GR walking routes up in to the hills and mountains or through the Luberon. We can organise courses for you in French, Painting, Yoga and photography.
