The house
The house was completely renovated in 2017 and is located at the front, ground floor. From the house and terrace you look out over the valley in which you see Sospel. As a guest you have your own entrance, your own spacious terrace in the silence between the olive trees. Sospel is a lively village with a lot of history. Influences from Italy can be felt and tasted! 30 minutes drive from Menton, a lively town on the Mediterranean, Cote d'Azur. Or you are in 15 minutes in Italy.
Parking is available on site. From the driveway you walk into the house from the garden. As a guest you have your own entrance, private terrace with lounge area and a barbeque grill. From the terrace you enter the modern kitchen. All necessary kitchen utensils are available, oven, coffee machine, kettle etc. If you walk further you pass the 2 bedrooms and then you walk into the spacious renovated bathroom. The bathroom has a rain shower and also overlooks the mountains. Towels are provided and the beds are made.
The house is situated at the head of the house, where you have complete privacy. We ourselves live above / behind the house and use the side of the house / garden. In principle, you can only meet at the driveway.

From the house and terrace you look out over the valley in which you can see Sospel. From the house you can walk to the village in about 20 minutes. At 30 minutes drive away Menton, a lively town on the Mediterranean, Cote d'Azur. Or you are in 15 minutes driving in Italy.
From Nice there is a direct train to Sospel. From Sospel there is also a bus to Menton and vice versa. If you come to Sospel by public transport, we will be happy to pick you up!

Een fijn huisje met een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Elke ochtend met een kop koffie op de veranda de zon zien opkomen. Mooi! Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. We hebben genoten van de omgeving. Luieren op het strand en zwemmen in zee met flinke wandelingen in de bergen afgewisseld. De stadjes Menton en Nice bezocht. Wij raden dit huisje en de omgeving zeker aan!

Sospel is situated in the mountains and there are many mountain sports to be done. There are many hiking trails that go right through the mountains and forests. Cycling is very popular in the area due to the many peaks in the area, such as 'col du Turini'. Mountain biking is also a good option, there are many mountain bike trails in the area from easy to difficult. Don't you have a bike with you? No problem, in Sospel you can rent these or e-bikes. Further remarks
The 500 metre driveway is unpaved and a little bumpy, but as long as you drive slowly it is not a problem. In comparison, we ourselves drive up with a Nissan Note without any problems. However, a lowered car or a low station wagon could sometimes hit the ground. If you have any doubts, send us an e-mail.
