Villa Saint Joseph

Villa Saint Joseph in Lorgues is a pearl in our offer. The villa was completely renovated down to the last detail and, in addition to an indoor area of 280m² and a covered terrace of 40m², it also has an outdoor pool of 12 by 5 metres. A real paradise!
The house has 6 bedrooms each with an annex bathroom to accommodate 12 people. On request, this number can be extended by up to 4 children (at an additional cost) to reach a total of 16 people.

The domain of Villa Saint Joseph is enclosed by an entrance gate within which there are plenty of parking spaces in the shade of tall trees. In a side part of the domain lives a caretaker who has no view of the private part of the villa, nor of the garden.

The garden has another separate enclosure within the domain and has been fully landscaped by a garden specialist. You will find all kinds of Mediterranean plants like palm trees and mulberry trees in lots between rocks and a boules area. There is also a central fountain. The beautiful 12-metre by 5-metre swimming pool, of course, immediately catches the eye. The pool can be heated on demand and closed with an automatic shutter. There is a plage with shallow water all along one side of the pool.

If you like to soak up the sun, there is a lower sun terrace with a dining table and some sun loungers on a badminton court.

All this with stunning views over the valley and a sunset that will stay with you for a long time.

The villa itself is a beautiful traditional Provençal villa, renovated with respect for its style and very uniformly decorated. The owners have deliberately kept it simple, without too many frames on the wall and decoration, to keep the peace. There is a travertine floor throughout the house.

The ground floor is actually elevated with some stairs at the front door and in the hall. The first room on the right in the hall is a bedroom for 2 people, with French doors to the outside terrace and annex bathroom, consisting of a bath, toilet and washbasin.

Further down the hallway, you enter the spacious living room with semi-open kitchen. The living room has plenty of light through the two French doors to a large wooden dining table with matching classic chairs. The sitting area is situated around a central fireplace and consists of built-in sofas with identical custom-made cushions. To the left is the corner with TV on movable arm. On the right, you will find a round bench along with the arch of the wall and small windows. The whole is very cosy with indirect light for the evening. The French doors open onto the same upper terrace as the bedroom. The view is phenomenal! With steps down, you arrive at the pool and garden.

The kitchen is semi-open with the living room through a pass-through hatch with wooden shutters that honour the style of the house. The kitchen itself is a gem in the whole. From an island consisting of a cutting top, sink and dishwasher, followed by a breakfast nook with stools to a cooking area with Smeg cooker and ovens, a microwave oven and American fridge with freezer compartment. Everything is in abundance to cook for the whole party.

Before going upstairs, we are drawn outside by a connection in the hallway to the covered outdoor terrace on the side of the house. You can't believe your eyes when you see this. A covered terrace of up to 40 m² with beautiful wooden roof trusses, a large sitting area again with settees and nice cushions, a large dining table and a charming outdoor kitchen. A Sonos music system is available on Bluetooth. Openings in the outdoor stone walls and archway give picturesque views in each case. The kitchen is very practical with a gas plancha, extractor hood, sink, dishwasher, fridge and deep fryer. It looks like you will spend a lot of time together here. The covered terrace opens onto the garden.

The upper floor consists entirely of bedrooms, to the left and right of a long central corridor. The bedrooms each consist of 2 bed boxes with single mattresses, which can be zipped together or put separately. Each bedroom has its annex bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and single washbasin. One bedroom is adaptable to suit your party as it can become a children's room with up to 6 single beds or it can be a master bedroom where a few extra beds may be added.

The whole house is air-conditioned and switches to heating during colder periods.
