Arsene de Bayonne,
Beautiful pigeonnier decorated soberly and superbly renovated. An idyllic setting in the middle of nature, a calm and an exceptional serenity. Ideal to escape from our daily turmoil. Thank you to Jolyon for your hospitality.
Dan de London,
I am very impressed. Communication with Jolyon before during and after our stay was second to none, always replying promptly and accurately. The location was better than expected, a superb bed, well equipped kitchen in a sympathetically altered rural setting. The deck is great addition, evenings sitting watching the sun set over rural France is fabulous.”
Amelie de Toulouse,
Very nice stay. We had a nice quiet romantic weekend. The countryside is beautiful with castles and historical sites nearby. The host was very quick to reply.
Zoeb de Edinburgh,
We had such a lovely, romantic holiday at this little pigeonnier. Although basic, it was perfectly comfortable and in an ideal remote location. The kitchen was reasonably well-equipped, and we really enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the sunshine on the little sun-deck. There were fantastic views and some really lovely French villages nearby to explore and enjoy.
Philip de London,
Great place for a couple who want to get away from it all. A cosy, quiet little tower(!) -- simple and rustic inside with oak beams, surrounded by fields. There is a sunny terrace with a useful parasol and a shadier spot underneath the terrace for very hot days. There is a comfortable double bed and stunning views of the rolling landscape that surrounds the Pigeonnier. There is plenty of space to park. The house is a short distance from Villeréal, which has a wonderful Saturday market and some lovely food shops. Just down the road is a farmer who mills his own grain and makes bread in a wood fired oven once a week — you can pick up a loaf on Saturday, after you visit the market. There is a friendly bar and free swimming pool at a camping site about a mile away.
