The house
Our Manoir is a maison de maitre with the old tiled floors from the past. During the renovation we tried to keep the atmosphere of the prosecutor general who used to live there. We have 4 rooms for 2 persons of which 2 rooms have their own bathroom and the 2 middle rooms together form the family room and share the bathroom.You can use our spacious garden with swimming pool, barbecue and terrace, from which you have a beautiful view of the mountains (caroux), where the gorge d'Heric begins. We have a private parking and a cave to store bicycles.

On the D 908, close to Olarges, is Mons la Trivalle.
It is known for its "Gorge d'Heric" (= mountain gorge with river), which is very beautiful with countless waterfalls where it is lovely to swim and bathe.
And all that in less than 10 minutes walk.
Manoir la trivalle lies on the outside of the village with a beautifully landscaped garden. Within walking distance you will find the village, where you can sit on the terrace of the auberge. The village has a bakery, a pizzeria, a small supermarket, a butcher, a wine shop, a tobacco shop, an auberge, a tourist office and in the high season twice a week a small market.
At the bottom of the village lies the river Orbe, where a kayak rental is present.
From the west side the Jaure joins the Orbe, the Jaure is a trout river.
There are beautiful walking routes for amateurs and experienced hikers and also for cyclists and mountain bikers there are plenty of possibilities.

Restaurants, food & wine
Several good restaurants in the neighbourhood can offer you delicious local dishes, Mediterranean or seafood dishes, all accompanied by fine wines from the direct wine-growing areas.
We also provide "Table d'Hotes", which means; a menu for 22 Euros per person incl. wine and coffee.
Reservation is required.
Activities
In summer, numerous small kiosks are opened in the most beautiful places where you can eat and drink, and they are usually the starting/finishing points for walks or other sports activities. In the month of August there are also many musical activities, ranging from pop to classical. There are many beautiful Mediterranean villages in the area and several wine regions, also 3 smaller towns each with a weekly market in summer and winter.
The "Parc Naturelle Haut Langue-Doc" is indescribable, so beautiful!
The Herault is one of the most beautiful nature, hiking, and climbing areas of France, very accessible, and we are right in it!!!! From dramatic rough rock formations to idyllic wine valleys and a little higher, green meadows with lakes for sailing and fishing, and all that with the Mediterranean Sea within 45 minutes by car.

Henny van Leussen and Bert de Boer both have other activities as well.
Henny is Master Third Degree in Reiki. She gives Reiki treatments by appointment and Reiki courses (Initiation 1,2, and 3).
She also organises coatching week programmes.
Bert is, apart from building, also occupied with music and drawing and painting activities, and knows many quiet beautiful places to practise this, of course with pik-nick "sur place".
For all these activities always smaller groups can apply.
Such an arrangement can always be requested and adapted to the wishes of the group (age, time, flexibility, etc.).

The prices for our "Chambres" remain the same throughout the year; from 65 Euro per night (2 pers.), incl. Petit-dejeuner.
