The house
MIjn holiday home, in the middle of nature in quiet surroundings, is playfully arranged with several levels. In the past, this was the Grange belonging to the existing house. This has been fully adapted to today's standards and thus a beautiful holiday home has been realised. Opening doors to terrace and garden, where you can enjoy the tranquility. The kitchen is modern, with a dining table and all the comforts of a kitchen, such as an oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. There is a pleasant living room, with a dining table and two luxury sofas. Two bathrooms with shower, toilet and washbasin. Sleeping loft and bedroom with two single beds 90x200cm each. Linen is ready for you, beds are made for you on arrival.
Suitable for 4 persons. An adjoining room for 2 persons with private bathroom can be booked. Because of the differences in level, this house is not suitable for people who are not mobile. If you do not feel like cooking, a few times a week you can make use of the dinners, Tables d'Hotes as they say in French.

My house is in the middle of nature. In the Auvergne, Allier, 3 kilometres outside the village Arfeuilles. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet in the garden, but also in the surrounding area. You can relax in the garden after you have enjoyed a walk or a bike ride, or elsewhere in this beautiful area. The nearest cities Vichy and Roanne are worth a visit.

En samen een creatieve workshop doen is ook heel leuk!

Restaurants, food & wine
If desired, you can enjoy delicious meals with me. Both breakfast and 4-course dinner I would like to provide for you several times a week. I will gladly take into account your wishes and/or allergies.
At half an hour distance there are several beautiful wine regions, including the Cote Roannaise. From this area I also serve wine during dinner, or on the terrace.
Activities
The natural surroundings are very suitable for lovely walks (the GR3 passes by here) and cycling trips. Electric bicycles are available from me for a small fee. Hikes of various "lengths" and efforts are possible in the immediate vicinity.
You can start a beautiful hiking or biking tour directly from your holiday home.
The fishing hobby blossoms in these surroundings. Possibilities in the river Barbenan (at walking distance) and the somewhat further located Besbre.
In this area are many more possibilities to enjoy, such as cosy weekly markets in various villages and Brocantes. The culture lover can also enjoy many beautiful events in the summer, such as concerts. The historic, cosy city of Vichy is worth a visit, as is Roanne.
There is an amusement park in the region that is fun for all ages.

I do not charge a deposit, I assume that you will leave the house as you found it on arrival. Should something happen which could make this different, please let me know during your stay so we can come to a solution.
For a dog that is welcome after prior consultation an amount of 35, - Euro will be charged extra, this is to be paid on the spot.
