The house
The Coccinelle or "Ladybird" is one of the 3 flats of the holiday park "Villa Tourasse". Coccinelle has a living room with dining area and open kitchen, small but complete; a bedroom with double bed 1.60 m wide, and a bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.
Coccinelle is most suitable for 2 adults. But if you would have a 1 child up to 2 or 3 years old, a cot can be added on request.
The gîte is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven, coffee machine, kettle, iron and fridge with separate freezer compartment. You have your own terrace and entrance.
Bed linen is provided - on your arrival the beds will be freshly made for you.
The garden doors open wide onto the partly covered terrace, which connects via a few steps to the swimming pool with palm tree and adjacent garden. In the garden is a stone BBQ and next to it, under the leafy greenery of the plane tree, a spacious picnic table for summer dining.
In the evening you can play "Jeu de Boules", read a book by the pool, or simply enjoy the excellent local Ardèchoise wine outside on your own terrace.

This cottage Cigale is located just outside the village of Grospierres, in the beautiful surroundings of the valley of the rivers Ardeche and Chassezac, Do you like sports activities and nature? Or do you prefer strolling around the medieval villages, strolling through the markets and tasting the fragrant local products? The Ardeche is the place to be.
The village itself has a post office, multimedia centre, Superette and a good restaurant. Every Sunday there is a cosy "brocante", or flea market.
Shopping is easy in Ruoms, 6 to 7 km from here. Vallon Pont d'Arc, the river Ardèche and the Gorges d'Ardèche: from 12 km.

Hi Tony & Janine, We’ve had the most wonderful and relaxing time at the Coccinelle! Time went too fast really. Thank you for your hospitality and fresh bread in the morning. The BBQ and drinks with you and the people in the other gites were fun and Janine’s cooking was much appreciated. You have a lovely place there in the Ardeche.

Met een klein hartje vertrokken we richting Grospierre. Onze eerste vakantie zonder de kinderen. Door het warme welkom voelde we ons al snel thuis. Tony is een prima gastheer! De gite vonden we ideaal voor 2 personen. Alles was aanwezig. Er was voldoende ruimte en ook de badkamer was comfortabel en voldoende ruim. Met een goede douche. Alles was zeer netjes.
Vanop het terras heb je een mooi zicht op het
heerlijke zwembad.
Wij hadden hele fijne buren. Dat maakt de vakantie nog fijner. Samen met Tony en de buren deden we een heerlijke bbq.
De gites zijn een ideale uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen.
We hopen om nog een keertje terug te komen! Wat zou het leuk zijn om dit met dezelfde mensen te mogen doen!

Wat een ontzettend lekkere vakantie hebben wij gehad bij Tony! We verbleven 2 weken in de Gite “Coccinelle”. Een zeer complete gite met een uitgebreide keuken en uitrusting. We hadden zelfs de luxe van een vaatwasser. Goede slaapkamer met een fijn bed en goede badkamer. Eigenlijk alles wat je nodig hebt voor een heerlijke vakantie. Naast de Gite is de buitenomgeving van Villa Tourasse geweldig. Je bevind je in een prachtige tuin, met een mooi zwembad en allerlei natuur om je heen. Wat een rust kun je hier vinden! In de toeristische omgeving is dit echt een oase van rust. Hierdoor kun je activiteiten erg goed afwisselen met tot rust komen. Tony was een super gastheer. Bij aankomst stond er heerlijke wijn uit de streek klaar. De Gite was brandschoon. We werden heel erg warm ontvangen door Tony. Iedere ochtend werd er brood gehaald. Daarnaast wist Tony alle ins en outs om dingen te doen in de omgeving, leuke stadjes etcetera. Ook heeft hij ons meegenomen naar een lokale wijnmaker om allerlei wijnen te proeven, wat ontzettend leuk was.
Tony, ontzettend bedankt voor de afgelopen twee weken. We hebben genoten van jouw prachtige plekje. Bedankt voor de onwijs goeie zorgen. Dit maakte onze vakantie helemaal af! Wie weet tot ziens.
Restaurants, food & wine
Almost every day of the week you can find a market with fresh, local produce, even wine. There are several authentic winemakers nearby - I would be happy to take you up to their wine cellars to taste wines on the spot. In short, warm sunshine, lavender and vineyards, delicious French food, atmospheric markets and lovely villages are the ingredients for a carefree holiday.
Activities
The Ardeche has a lot to offer you. in terms of activities. Possibilities for trips and activities include:
- Whitewater canoeing and kayaking through the Gorges de l'Ardèche and Chassezac
- Hiking (possible directly from this address)
- Golf (2 km)
- Boules (on our own floodlit court in our garden)
- Caving
- Quad biking
- Hang-gliding
- Horse riding (4 km from Grospierres)
- Swimming in rivers La Beaume, Chassezac, Ardeche, and of course in our own swimming pool
- Cycling: recreational, racing and ATB, Mont Ventoux 95 km.
- Visiting caves. The Ardeche has a famous number of caves including Caverne de Chauvet and the Grotte Madeleine
- Hikers can fully enjoy the flora and fauna in this beautiful area.
Brocante lovers can browse the many brocante markets and "Vide Greniers" in search of that one special gadget.
A day trip to the Mediterranean (e.g. to the Camarque nature reserve) is also well worthwhile.

Further remarks
Coccinelle is part of "Villa Tourasse", a small and therefore intimate holiday park with a large swimming pool in a tastefully landscaped garden of over 3500 m2, a jeu de boules court and a large playing field. Villa Tourasse consists of only 3 independent cottages: Cigale 4 pers, Coccinelle 2 pers, and the Papillon 2-4 pers. They can be rented separately or together for family groups of max. 6 adults and max. 4 children.
