The "Loft" is part of a Mas situated in a very quiet valley and is completely private. Surrounded by forests, it is the ideal place for people who love nature. Walks can start from the domain.
There is a large garden with outdoor furniture.
For children, the valley is one big playground.
The necessary garden works are carried out.

Als je opzoek bent naar een plek om helemaal tot rust te komen is het Loft de perfecte plek. Er heerst een geweldige stilte in beide geluid en omgeving. Je zit helemaal in de natuur en door het gebrek aan internet en mensen kan je niks anders doen dan tot rust komen.
Jo en Magda zijn hele lieve, vriendelijke mensen die altijd behulpzaam en gezellig waren, maar ons ook zeker de ruimte gaven om op onszelf te zijn.Het huisje zelf is erg groot met een mooi privé terras in de zon en ook een fijne plek om binnen te zitten. In de buurt kan je veel mooie wandelingen maken, zwemmen en stadjes bezoeken. Wij hebben erg genoten en kunnen het zeker aanraden.

Als je een plek tien sterren kon geven, zou dit het zijn. Het is een prachtige omgeving, een plek om tot rust te komen. Jo en Magda zijn hele aardige mensen en super gastvrij. We hebben in dit huisje een heerlijke tijd gehad. Een echte aanrader. Ga op zoek in het dal naar de oeroude kastanjebomen of naar de plek waar de drie stroompjes samenkomen.

The Ardèche is known for its pure cuisine with excellent local products. This French department has extraordinary wines on offer, from exclusive prize beasts to unknown pearls from small wine estates.
The chestnut is the star of Ardèche cuisine, but local mushrooms (such as ceps and chanterelles), artisan goat's cheese and traditionally prepared charcuterie also have a starring role. The peasant villages of Ardèche produce sausages, ham and pâté according to the rules of art. The inhabitants of Ardèche are proud of their culinary heritage and keep their beloved traditional dishes alive.
Activities
Within a radius of 10 km, there is the possibility to go horseback riding, fishing and swimming in the river Le Doux. In several surrounding municipalities the river is marked and there are facilities for swimmers and visitors. For information about this (Désaignes, Labatie d'Andaure, Rochepaule, Lamstre,...) you can visit their website;
The nearest bigger town is Lamastre (17 km). In Lamastre there is a possibility to shop (supermarket) and there is a weekly market on Tuesday morning and a farmers market on Saturday morning.
In the surrounding villages: Nozières, Pailharès, Désaignes, and others there is the local grocer, the warm baker and the fresh butcher.
Every village has its own cultural offer of performances, local night markets, exhibitions, brocante, etc.
Nearby is the starting point of the famous "L'Ardechoise", the most famous cycling event in France. This annual event takes place during the month of June. During this week rentals are only possible on request. The request must be made 2 months in advance.
In Mars (Chambon sur Lignon) there is a golf course (18 holes).
For more adventurous activities you can go to Rochepaule. The "Centre Tout Terrain" is the place to be for lovers of 4x4, quad and mountain bikes.
Animal lovers will enjoy Peaugres for a safari by car or a walk through the animal park.
Who likes to be in the water can go to the plages in the surrounding villages or municipalities (Désaignes, Labatie d'Andaure, Rochepaule, Lamstre,...). On their website you will find all necessary information.

Further remarks
The access road (700 m) is an earthen road and well passable.
Because of the location there is no possibility of internet. At some times and places in the garden it is possible to receive internet via "4G".
Once you are out of the valley, there is a possibility of reception. In the villages there is also the possibility of Wi-Fi reception.
