The house
In the old cave of this Relais de Poste, where the horses used to stay, there is now a delightful luxury flat for 2 people (around 55 m2).
Under the old vaults, you will find all the comforts you need: a spacious lounge with open kitchen and bar, an adjoining private Mediterranean terrace with lounge sofa, dining area and plancha, a bedroom with king-size bed and luxury bathroom. Well-functioning wifi and air conditioning are, of course, not lacking. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with Nespresso, oven, dishwasher, etc. But if you want, you can also order breakfast. Dinners are available twice a week with seasonal and local produce. You can wander around an acre of garden dotted with fig, cypress and olive trees, several seating areas and hammocks and, of course, a bocce court. The 12x6 swimming pool and well-stocked pool bar are at your disposal. There are two other flats for two people each. The pool is shared with the other two flats (max 4 people).

Het was weer een feest! We hebben weer een fantastisch verblijf gehad, prachtig weer, heerlijke ruimte, uitstekend bed en buitenruimte met plancha. Kortom prachtige locatie. Het ontbreekt je werkelijk aan niets. Ontbijtje, prachtig diner in de tuin. En bovenal wat een gastvrijheid. Dank Silvia en Leander en natuurlijk Coco.

Prachtig schoon appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt gelegen in een klein dorpje. Vriendelijke eigenaren. Mooie omgeving en een goede basis voor uitstapjes. We zijn er heerlijk tot rust gekomen. De 3 appartementen liggen zo dat je veel privacy hebt. Het is fijn dat er maximaal 6 gasten zijn. Zwembad is heerlijk met een barretje erbij. De tuin is groot met leuke plekjes waar je kan zitten. Kortom een hele fijne plek.

Enjoy the delicious wines of the Ardèche and the Cévennes. Visit local producers and taste goat's cheeses, olive oil, saucisson, crème de marrons, fruit juices, honey and many other good things this area has to offer.
Activities
In a serene part of the Ardèche on the border with the Gard, Relais de Poste is ideally situated, close to the many attractions of this area. But just far enough away to be away from the crowds. A place for the sporty holidaymaker; the winding roads are perfect for the cyclists and motorcyclists among us. Do you like walking and bird watching? You can indulge yourself here. Or are you a water rat? Then canoeing or kayaking on the Ardèche, Cèze or Chassezac is really something for you.
For those who love typical French marchés, this is also the right place. The weekly market in Barjac is very complete, and Barjac is a beautiful and romantic town. For the shopaholic, there is Uzès. This city with its famous Saturday market and many boutiques and galleries is definitely worth a visit. Culture and history are not lacking here either. The Grotte Chauvet is world famous. Or what about the Pont du Gard?
