The house
The house, with private entrance, is located in a tiny village and has unobstructed views of the hills and the village church.
There is a living room (25m2), two bedrooms, a bathroom with toilet, a well-equipped kitchen with fridge, cooker and electric oven and a covered terrace. You can also use a barbecue and seats in the orchard. The garden has an area of 800 m2.where you also have access to a hammock and ping pong table.For children there is a nice playhouse in the garden.
The following price includes bed, bath and kitchen linen, gas, water, electricity
and cleaning.
Our house is suitable for 4 persons but in the summer period we have a garden house for 2 persons belonging to the same party.
The price for this is then 300 euros per week, bed linen and towels included.
Already from May 2010 the mosaic tiled swimming pool of 9 x 4 m is in use; it is
locally 1.85 deep, so great diving but!
Since 2022 there is also a sauna for guests. For an evening sauna and the pool for you privately , including towel and
a juice, we charge 50 euro. ( for three hours )
We have no charging point for cars but there are some at the supermarket, nearest 7 km!

Ardeche in southeastern France, located on the eastern edge of the Massif Central, is one of the eight departments of the Rhône-Alpes region.
North Ardeche is a hilly to mountainous area of which more than
31 % is forested.
Our village is located in the Parc Naturel Régional des Monts d'Ardèche at
an altitude of around 500 metres. This makes the summers wonderfully warm but
but not too hot.
Perfectly suited for the active holidaymaker, who loves a rural and green
and green surroundings, while amenities such as market and shops are within
10 minutes by car.

Heerlijke gite. Uitstekend zwembad, goede bedden, prima badkamer en keuken. Echter, 1 tip voor toekomstige huurders: Han en Bea bieden een diner aan. Ze zeggen een 3 gangen diner maar is in feite een geweldig, super smaakvol 5 gangendiner. Wat toekomstige huurders NIET moeten doen is dit boeken op de aankomstdag. Dat is doodzonde om te kunnen genieten van zo'n geweldig, liefdevol klaargemaakte 2,5 uur durend diner. Boek het, zoals wij, op de dag NA aankomst. Dan is het echt genieten. Als je geen spectaculaire vakantiewensen hebt anders dan mooi weer, een mooi Franse omgeving met leuke dorpjes, markten, heerlijke lokale producten als wijn en kaas, je houdt van ontspannen wandelingen of een comfortabele fietstocht met de elektrische fietsen van Han en Bea, dan ben je hier op het goede adres! Het zwembad en de gite bieden alles wat je wenst. De tuin biedt veel privacy en plek om te luieren, spelletjes te doen of te lezen. En vooral: Han en Bea zijn prettige huisbazen die je alle ruimte geven je eigen ding te doen. tip: maak zeker gebruik van het aanbod om van hun kookkunst te genieten. Wij hadden dat op de dag van aankomst afgesproken, wat een heerlijk begin van onze vakantie was. Hoewel wij samen waren, is het gebruik door 4 personen van de gite volgens ons geen probleem. Het is meer dan genoeg ruimte en servies beschikbaar. KORTOM: een aanrader met een goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding!

Jullie waren aangename gasten en na jullie vertrek hadden we de gite weer snel op orde;
Als iedereen de boel zo netjes achterlaat………
Allé goeds! Han en BeaWim en els from Berkel enschot,
Heerlijk genoten van de gastvrijheid en gezelligheid van Han en Bea. Alles mag, niks hoeft. Vrijheid, blijheid is hun motto en zo voelt het ook. Heerlijk zwembad en mooie tuin waar je op verschillende plekjes kunt genieten. Al met al ‘n heerlijke vakantie gehad.
Restaurants, food & wine
There are numerous restaurants that still proudly serve their regional dishes and
for which surprisingly attractive prices are charged!!!
Much on offer are "picodons", delicious little goat cheeses, as well as
many other varieties, besides artisanal sausages, mushrooms, nuts,
and last but not least, the chestnut and its products: as puree, pasta on
bread, in cakes and desserts, and even a special liqueur!
And another story in itself: the northern Rhone wines!!! Possibly outside France
not yet famous, but here within easy reach; don't forget to discover them: Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage and Cornas!!!
Tip!
By arrangement, you can take advantage of our surprising three-course menu at € 37, 50 including aperitif and coffee with liqueur.
Children up to 5 years free and from 5 to 10 years for 17.50 .
Activities
Enjoying free time and the gite, cooking, with book in the hammock,
the swimming pool and the local boules court.
Or a dip in the river or artificial outdoor pool, both at
about ten minutes by car.
Walking ( maps available ) , cycling, horse riding ( 2 riding schools ), tennis and
there is an 18-hole golf course at 30 minutes.
On Tuesday is the weekly market in Lamastre and/or go to
the smaller, nice Saturday morning market there!
A trip, possibly by bicycle, to one of the so-called " villages caractères",
Désaignes or Chalencon. If desired, we have two electric bicycles for rent.
And La Dolce Via, a bicycle/walking route, built on a former railway track, where you can move around safely.

Or a day trip to one of the larger cities such as Le Puy, Valence and
not forgetting....Lyon!!!

Further remarks
First of all, we want you to have only good memories of your stay in our gîte.
We are not in favour of extensive contracts but the following points
we would like to agree with you:
* You are welcome from 16.00 hours on the day of arrival
* You are staying in a quiet village so do not disturb anyone (with noise).
* Please do not use a radio in the garden.
* In principle, there is a nightly rest period from 23.00 to 8.00 hours
* It is not allowed to smoke in the cottage and/or burn candles in the bedrooms.
* We are not liable for any damage or injury incurred during your stay.
* The cottage is only for the tenants and any visitors please consult us.
* We assume that you yourself supervise the underage guests in the garden and in and around the pool.
* The already paid deposit you will receive in cash on the day of departure and that day you can still
until 10.00 hours to use the cottage.
In our opinion, this small rule can't spoil the holiday fun!

Terms of payment: We require a deposit of 150 Euros and upon receipt of this deposit your reservation is final.
We reserve this amount as a deposit which you will receive in cash on the day of departure.
The total amount must be paid no later than 8 weeks before arrival.
In case of cancellation there will be no refund of already paid costs and we advise you, if necessary, to take care of your own cancellation insurance.
