The house
In the former barn we have realized a beautiful new gite. The gite is detached, has an area of approximately 200m ² and has underfloor heating on the ground floor. The spacious living area is approximately 100 m² and has a stylish decor, sandstone floor in ancient Roman connection, with a fireplace. The kitchen is fully and comfortably equipped (dishwasher, microwave, large fridge with separate freezer and 5-burner stove with oven).
The gite has four spacious bedrooms on the floor, each with an own bathroom equipped with shower and bathroom furniture. In the gite are two toilets. Each bedroom has 2 single and very comfortable beds (box springs 90 * 210).
For small children is on request a bed, bath, box, chair available. An internet connection (ADSL) is present.
The beautiful garden is located on the south-west with a spacious wooden deck with two tables, eight chairs, two umbrellas and a barbecue. In the garden you find the private pool (8 * 4m) with a (fully removable) security fence. On the private site at the cottage is a parking lot. Toys are also present in the cottage. Outside in the garden is a trampoline.

Our farm house is located in a rural area with meadow and forest in the Brenne Regional Nature Park (the park of 1000 lakes). Just across the property runs the river L'Allemette. A walk along the river is certainly worth it.
1.5 km located from our farm house is the castle Chateau Guillaume. The castle is surrounded by authentic houses of the Brenne.

Prachtig, sfeervol huis. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooie nog rustige omgeving. Leuke dorpjes in de buurt. Goede bedden en alle kamers een eigen badkamer. Genoeg linnengoed. Schoon. Al met al een tien! We komen graag nog eens terug in dit mooie huis.

Wij waren hier nu voor de 2de keer en het was weer heerlijk. Genoeg ruimte voor de 5 volwassenen, 1 baby en 2 honden. Superfijn huis, genieten van het zwembad, tuin en de mooie omgeving. Goed contact met eigenaresse en gerante ter plaatse. Er komt vast een derde keer!

Een heerlijk ruim, comfortabel huis met goede bedden en verder ook van alle gemakken voorzien. Zwembad is ook heerlijk. Omgeving is prachtig en heel rustig. Een aanrader is om te gaan eten bij camping Domaine de Puylagorge van Nederlandse eigenaren op 10 minuten afstand.

On the last Sunday of August "Fête de la Batteuse" (feast of the thresher) in Chamorin.
On the 3rd Sunday of September "Fête de la Chasse et de la nature" in Mauvieres. From early morning until late at night: the fishing contest, flea market, animations, repas champêtre, dancing and much more.
On October 10, the "Foire des Chiens et des chevaux" in Chaillac.On the 2nd Sunday of October: the "Foire aux Potirons" in Tranzault.
On the last weekend of October: "Fête de la chataigne" in Éguzon.
Every 3 years, about mid-November: "Fête de La Pêche" Etang de Rochechevreux. The lake is drained and the fish is caught.
Activities
In the Parc naturel régional de la Brenne you find extensive hiking, mountain biking and riding trails. You can also fish and hunt in various locations (from 1 October to 1 March).
At about 8 km you find a lake with beach and play area, diving board and landing for canoes and pedalos.
At about 30 km you find the lake of Eguzon with sunny beaches and water sports.
