The house
Le Tokay is a flat located in a typical Alsace house where we also live. It is located on the second floor (stairs) with a total area of 115m². It consists of a large kitchen equipped with gas cooker, gas oven, dishwasher, Senseo coffee machine, microwave, fridge and freezer and all materials for cooking. Also mixer, toaster and kettle.
A large dining area and a lounge also equipped with every comfort with large-screen TV, DVD player and stereo. Films, games and books are available. There is a separate toilet and a bathroom with large bathtub, shower and washbasin. The apartment has a second floor with three separate bedrooms. One room with a double bed with 2 separate mattresses (2 x 90 cm/200 cm, a room with a double bed (large mattress of 160 cm/200 cm and a room with two separate beds of 90 cm/190 cm. On this floor also a bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. A hairdryer, washing machine, dryer and iron are at your disposal.

Few chances to get bored here. From the apartment you are within walking distance in the vineyards where you can stroll to our castles, the forest and also to Bergheim and Hunawihr.
During winter you can ski or snowboard uninhibited on the slopes of the ski resort Le Lac Blanc, just 30 km from Ribeauvillél.
Art and history lovers are sure to find what they are looking for in historic cities such as Colmar, Strasbourg and the surrounding villages such as Riquewihr, Kaysersberg and Equisheim.
Ribeauvillé also boasts 2 swimming pools (1 indoor, 1 outdoor). There is a casino and for the children we have Cigoland in Selestat, the stork park in Hunawihr, the butterfly park, the monkey park and also a raptor park.

Wat een warm welkom door Nadja en Guy in een fantastisch appartement (le Tokay)! Alles is aanwezig, zelfs meer dan verwacht. Ruim appartement, zeer schoon en heerlijke bedden. Eigenlijk in het centrum, maar in een rustige straat. Alles bevindt zich op loopafstand. De omgeving is eveneens geweldig, wij komen hier vast nog eens terug!

Een appartement prachtig gelegen in pittoresk dorp. Uitstekende (nieuwe) voorzieningen maken het plezier alleen maar groter om hier te verblijven. Zeer schoon, van alle gemakken voorzien en ideale uitvalsbasis voor allerlei uitstapjes. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren.

We hebben 2 heerlijke (zeer warme) weken gehad in de gite Le Bretzel in Ribeauvillé. De gite is van alle gemakken voorzien, leuk ingericht en erg schoon! Guy en Nadja zijn zeer gastvrije, hartelijke mensen van wie wij leuke tips ontvingen m.b.t. uitstapjes in de omgeving. Bij aankomst stond er een lekker flesje wijn klaar en een trommeltje zelfgebakken cakejes! De omgeving is prachtig en de dorpjes zijn schitterend!. Onze kinderen hebben nog nooit zoveel ooievaars gezien! (-:

Description and distance from ski station
Area: Lac Blanc
distance: 15 - maximum 30 kms near skiing
In half an hour from Le Tokay, you can already be on the ski slats. It is best reached by car. The skiing area offers possibilities to the beginning skier but also to those who want to go down the red slopes.
Restaurants, food & wine
As far as wine and good food are concerned, you are definitely in the right place here and all within walking distance. Ribeauvillé is located on the 'Route de Vin' and is surrounded by winemakers who will let you enjoy a glass in their wine cellars. Typical Alsace meals can also be sampled here. Munster cheese in particular is a must.
Every Saturday morning there is our weekly market where you can do your shopping.
And don't forget the famous festival médieval 'Pfifferdaj', the first weekend of September with its 20,000 visitors from everywhere. A weekend that brings Ribeauvillé back to the Middle Ages with its procession, old crafts and original costumes. And our famous Christmas markets in December. Even the grape harvest does not pass without celebrations here.
Activities
Le Tokay unfortunately does not have a terrace or garden but there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance as well as possibilities to have a picnic or a pleasant time in the park. In terms of activities, too, you've come to the right place. You can visit the butterfly garden, the monkey park, the birds of prey show or the stork park. Ribeauvillé has 2 wonderful swimming pools, suitable for young and old, and recently you can pamper yourself in the spa/balneo complex with massage, hot water baths and customised treatments. The more daring can try their luck in the cosy casino or dance the night away in the nearby nightclub. From here you can also go to Europapark (50km) which is sure to please the children. The little ones can enjoy the playground in the park while the parents have fun with a game of petanque. Opposite the apartment there is the cinema Rex, so there is something for everyone....

Beds are made on arrival, towels provided for each, kitchen towels provided, internet connection free. Final cleaning is not included and costs 100 per stay.
A deposit of 200€ is requested upon arrival which will be refunded to you in the week AFTER DEPARTURE.
